Very easy to set up and use and the price is great.

I had gone to Best Buy looking for a CD drive for my Mac. I of course knew of the SuperDrive from Apple and knew what it cost. I decided to look to see what else was available and I spotted this one. It has the look to fit in with Apple products but not the Apple price tag. So far works great. I have only used it to rip a few CDs into iTunes.

This is the perfect addon External Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW SuperMulti Blade Drive to any laptop that does not have that feature. If comes with installation software that installs in just minutes. If you’re looking for an economical and realiable drive this is the way to go!

I have an apple computer and it does not come with a burner to burn cds. Guess I am a bit old school and I still like to burn music cds from itunes. This lg burner is perfect for what I need and its compatible with my apple. Also best buy did a price match and I got it for even less than the sticker price.

Worked as expected. There are many things you have to download initially but after that worked great for viewing a work disc and watching a movie.

I'd highly recommend this product if your laptop does not come with an internal optical drive (most new Macintosh models). It is streamlined, easy to operate with a USB cable and barely makes any noise. READS and WRITES DVDs. Also a great silver color match for your MacBook Pro.

I'm very pleased with my external drive. I use it about once or twice a week and for the cost, I'm very happy. It serves its purpose and requires minimal installation, just insert USB and it's there. Very simple.

So far so good, have only used it twice. Could not get the software they provided on the disc to work so I used Media Player Classic Home Cinema to play a DVD. Also when you try to eject the device from your computer, it only ejects the disc, couldn't find a way to eject the DVD player itself so I just unplugged it. Arrived timely and so far plays good for the price.

Once you figure out how to use it, it is a nice product. The only thing I did not like is that I had to download an additional software (not the one that it comes with) to have it actually work on my compture.
