Easy to set up and operate.Works with my software and it's fast.

I gave my son my SuperDrive and realized I needed to get a replacement for myself. This product really fit the bill. Cheaper, slightly lower physical profile, and an actual eject button. You can't go wrong.

I love this writer/player. Use it on my laptop. This is actually my second one, as i gave my first one to my grandchild. Ordered another, that's how much i like it.

Sleek and compact, unfortunately it does not come with a USB C connector for newer laptops, so I am having to buy an adapter to be able to connect and use it. Otherwise, it's a great peripheral to back-up old CDs/DVDs to external hard drives.

I was a bit behind the times on tech and missed the point that most new desktops no longer have a DVD drive; especially the gamming desktops. This was the best drive at a reasonable price at my local store. It has fitted in nicely.

Had to purchase new computer and wanted a second drive for DVD/CD. I was very happy with the price and it has performed as expected. Haven't used it much yet but picture quality, resolution and ability to keep flowing are very good. Set-up was quick and easy with no glitches or problems. Would buy and recommend to anyone who needs one!

External drive worked well for loading programs on laptop computer, which came without internal drive. Have recorded home movies from VCR tapes. Will use external drive to burn those home movies to DVDs, for distribution to family members.

I bought this drive hoping that the advertised Surface Pro compatibility is true. It is! This drive will burn a disc on the Surface Pro 3, without using a USB "Y" cable to supply more power to the drive. It will burn a disc with just the included USB cable plugged into the Surface Pro 3. I'm very pleased with this!

LG usb dvd portable disk player is a great product. Its quiet and sturdy. You cant even hear the motor of the disk spinning. LG makes good stuff and Bestbuy has great pricing.

Considering the Mini HP Laptop i bought the item for was made in 2010, I was not sure if I could find a DVD Player for the Laptop. I know the item I bought it for is a little old, I went to Best Buy because this store has always had what I needed. Sure enough I was able to get a LG - 8x External Double-Layer Dvd±rw/CD-RW SuperMulti Blade Drive - Silver. It works and My friend will be able to watch Any DVD he wants to see. I am a happy camper and Best Buy has come thru again!!!! Yeah for Best Buy. Thank you. Cuellie.
