I haven't been able to use this much, however when I have it works well. I wish it was still in the computers but it is what it is. I bought an apple laptop the same day and the reason for buying this and not the apple was the price. Same product and same function.

Portable dvd writer works great with both my MAC and PC. Quiet operation and quick.

Well I didn't think I would ever need one of these in 2021. Bought this to attach to a mac so I could import tons of picture CD's and DVDs. Plugged it in and it worked right off the bat. I wish it had a USB-C plug but the adapters from A to C are all over the place.

I needed this drive to view MP4 format files on a compact disc. This thing can handle it. With the use of a file converter online, you can then change the files to .mov or whatever you need to save to a USB.

Works great, I recommend this drive to everyone, very nice!

I purchased this to accompany a Toshiba notebook which, of course, came without an internal drive. My requirements were pretty basic, and this meets them well. It seems to be a good option in its price range. My only complaint is the short three foot cord shipped with the unit (why???). Otherwise a solid purchase. Recommended.

Needed an affordable DVD drive for my iMac 27". My nearby BestBuy has an awesome tech rep that suggested this drive for the iMac. Works great for my needs. Very simple, basic design.

Great high quality optical media burner! Works with different types of media. Was trying to burn older PS1 games and those 20 year old consoles can be very sensitive to even the slightest burn errors. Other burners caused issues but this one is flawless!

The drive is sometimes slow to react, but it is allowing me to view on my MacBook Pro my thousands of photos saved on CD's/DVD's. I have not tried writing to a disk yet, but I have been able to download photos from the CD's.

I read so many bad reviews of the Apple drive I tried this one after reading many good reviews for it. It's sleek and works flalessly. No issues after several uses. I use it for ripping in music CDs and for watching DVD video. I have not yet used it for burning. But, I have high expectations based on performance to-date.

Purchased this drive to replace an Apple Super Drive that was acting erratically. Works perfectly, good speed, no delays when reading. Price was very competitive.

I love this. I hate the fact that they no longer install these in the Laptops. They really need to take a strep back and start installing these directly into the desktops and laptops. Now I don't have to worry about my movies and all of the information that I need to view on my CD's.
