Easy to set up on My Mac. I purchased this since the new Mac has no optical drive and I have disc media to access. Good value and works as designed.

New computers don't have DVD drives unless you spend thousands. Therefore, two of mine could use one of these. This is a nice one. I haven't had the time to use it very many times, but I have copied a few discs.

I bought with with the hope of burning home movies let me tell you handles it like a champ spending the extra few bucks was worth the tray less DVD drive with Windows 10 it's a true plug and play ready to go as soon as you plug it in

It's so simple to use I bought another one to attach to each of my computers. I was afraid they may stop making these DVD drives. I have so much VHS home movies transferred to DVD and it would be a shame if couldn't play or edit them.

Excellent purchase at a good price! This unit works quickly and does not have as loud of fans as others.

I love the LG DVD RW/CD portable player. I have a lot of pictures stored on CD's. Plus old video's of family get togethers. I've been able to use this on all of our laptops no matter what brand.

Purchased another "name brand" external to use with my desktop system but it would never show up as a device. Tried jumping through a bunch of hoops - til I returned it and grabbed this little baby. Unboxed it, plugged it in - VOILA!!! Ripping my CDs to digital (for use in the car) or listening to them while working at home!

Like many computers, my laptop did not come with a built in drive. I bought this to start the process of digitizing my dvd collection. It works very well so far! Easy to use, no problems!

I compared this hard drive against Apple's hard drive, same size, same specks and I gotta say, for the money, this one is just as good if not better. Its compact and easy to use and take little space and does not get hot like a lot of the other ones I have used in the past. I have no complaints about it.

I am not the most technology literate person when it comes to computers but even I figured out how to use this. I still like my music on my iPod and not my phone so worked great for downloading my CD library.

Was a Christmas gift for my daughter, can’t believe young kids would even want to use this technology.. she says that it does the job she wants and it performs well.

This works great. The one in our computer burned out because we made so many DVD's. Our computer would have had to be shipped out for repairs lasting several weeks so it was nice to have this as a option.

Product works great with my iMac and fits right in with the silver theme as well. I bought it to burn music cd's and to play cd's I already own. It's a great investment for PC's or MAC's without a built-in drive. The price is great too!!

I always find myself bummed when modern computers don’t come with disc drives anymore, but this was the easiest accessory to use and connect. And now I can play CDs or DVDs in my home computer again
