Easy to use, and the BB employee who helped us select the product also suggested free software that works well.

Product works great with my iMac and fits right in with the silver theme as well. I bought it to burn music cd's and to play cd's I already own. It's a great investment for PC's or MAC's without a built-in drive. The price is great too!!

If your PC no longer has a DVD drive as most do not, this is an excellent option to have for your desktop or Laptop, quiet running and performs well in both read and write modes, Great Value, Great price.

I bought this while on the road for business and needed a burner for my laptop. It's worked well, burning DL DVD's with no issues. It was inexpensive and has done everything I need it to do. I've used it as a second drive for my home computer too.

Of course I wish I could go straight for the Apple version, I spent my money on the best for my Macbook though. So, I research my options for peripherals carefully. This LG ended up being a great choice. It looks good, and works well, too. I'm very happy with this choice! Super easy to use.

works as advertised. Only needs the ONE USB port (some drives need 2 for power). Matches my silver computer. Is very quiet running. Only used it a few times so far, so can't vouch for durability. Package it comes in is worth keeping...looks good and protects it nicely.

Just what I needed since they quit making computers & laptops without these.

I needed something simple and usb powered that I could use alongside my laptop to deliver DVD content to clients. Out of the box this worked with my software and I haven't had any issues with it.

I don't like that there are not disc drives in new laptops but if that is the way it is going to be this drive was easy to use and does what I need it to do and has held up to making many copies of photo and video disks.

I've only used this to play music through my laptop and upload audio files from my CD's. I plan to use it to save audio and video; will try to remember to add to this review later! The only negatives were that the instructions were sparse: I sometimes need to be told how to operate a piece of hardware, and I don't know whether I actually NEED the included software or not!

New laptop did not offer a disc drive and I certainly need one. This one works well with simple setup.

If you can't live with out music, and have the Air, buy this. I can't imagine not having this with my new Mac Air, because music is soo important. I am a senior citizen, and found this so easy to use, right out of the box. Worth the money.

This player works great! The purchase price was reasonable, the installation went like a breeze and the functionality is perfect. A great fit if you need a second DVD drive or if you don't have any this is your answer.

Nice to have this capability on my laptop that did NOT include a DVD drive. There are so many times when a file needs to be stored for infrequent use so offline storage is the best option. Also like being able to play CDs and DVDs for review and sharing with others.

I have used the LG frequently to convert CDs into digital format to load onto my smart phone, and it works well. Easy to use, and allows me to listen to music when I walk the dog...
