my apple desk computer cd player stopped working a while back. read about this one got very good reviews. was on sale, great price, free shipping. arrived very quickly. it does not get any better than that.

Purchased this device to burn copies of family pictures to share with relatives out of town and save usage on my laptop burner. Have not had the opportunity to use it yet. I like the small size and can place it in my laptop bag so dvd's can be burned while visiting.

I like that this drive matches my MacBook. My only qualm is that every so often it is unable to read a disk I've inserted. I'll take them out and clean them and this works most of the time. But overall I'm glad I got this drive.

Got this a BestBuy since my laptops no longer come with a DVD/CD drive. Need to rip some music from a few old CDs that I could not get through the various streaming services. Super simple set up. Just plug and play.

bought a 2 in 1 that did not have a cd/dvd drive. This one works well for any installs that require a cd\dvd drive. Also performs reasonably well for writing files.

I connected it to my Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga laptop ( window 8.1) via USB and it was good to go. Successfully transferred music content from CDs and played DVD movies.

Does what I needed it to do. Installed a shortcut without asking for permission.

Great writer for it's intended purpose. Easy setup.

Bought a new computer without a DVD/CD drive so decided to get an external one as I had so many photos on Cd's and Dvd's as well as a lot of music on Cd's. One of the best purchases I have made lately.i would definitely recommend this product to all my friends.

Didnt want to buy the expensive apple cd drive for my mac book air so i got this one and i am very satisfied just plugged it in and played my disks with no problems

This player/writer is awesome. Fits just right with my 2022 HP AIO computer....more quite than I imagined it would b. Definitely a keeper!!

This player is a very good one and priced right. It show's a very high quality picture and very simple to use. I have not had any trouble out of it since I've owned it. I really like it. Thank You Very Much

I'll rarely use this, it's ironic because I purchased it because I needed it a lot, and the moment i purchased it I stopped needing it. Anyways, for the amount of money it cost I will definitely keep it, as DVD's are going by the way side.

Simple plug and play and burnt CDs without any issues on a Macbook Pro running Monterrey.

Operating like it should. Is compact and fast with the cd/dvd.

This external drive works as expected and is sleek looking. It has a nice low profile and isn't too loud. I spent a lot of time researching balancing value and looks and performance and I seem to have found that blend. Definitely a great purchase.

Bought this double-layer DVD to complement my ultra this laptop. It was highly recommended by other reviewers, and I have to agree. Jay plug it in, and you're good to go! Great DVD, for a Great price...

all i can say is i think it is a good buy ! it works great ! only had it for two days !will know more when i get to use it for awhile

WORKS VERY WELL..DOES NOT SLIDE ON DESK AND QUIET. NOTICED VERY LITTLE SOUND OR VIBRATION NOISE LIKE MOST. AND LIKE THE IDEA OF NO PHYSICAL TRAY.. LESS MOVING PARTS IS BETTER IN MY EYES.

I read reviews about this device and was skeptical, however, I decided to try it after trying others that were not impressive to me. This one by far was the better choice. Its casing is much more durable and works just fine with my Spectre!
