I used this to convert my audio CD's into MP3 format for my car. There were no issues at all. I had it plugged into my USB3.0 port. It's apparently works on either or. I do not know if there is a difference in transfer speed though. Works great!

It’s ok so far. I haven’t had out long enough to really do a full review. However, I do like that it can just slide in the CD instead of a tray popping out. That was the worst.

This unit is surprisingly compact. I'm using it with an iMac desk computer with external speakers. No setup needed. Just plugged it into a USB port, and it was ready to go. All features work, and sound and picture are excellent.

Works good , but the cyberlink player software that comes with it is horrible .. Just use VLC media player and it works fine.

My issue with this drive is it is a little noisy, and to play DVD I have to find a download online so the laptop will play it. I think it should be part of the software disc it comes with. I had no idea why it would not work and wasted time trying to resolve the issue myself.

Bought the lesser version but then this went on sale. Returned the other and got this one. Works perfect for both my pcs that do not have optical drives. Also lightweight to bring in my backpack if needed.

Works exactly as advertised. I'm a proponent of physical media and having the ability to rip my cd's to my own specifications is wonderful, because I hate digital downloads. The quality is just not there.

Great so far. Used it to read an owners manual for my car on my Mac. Worked great out of the box. It's pretty quiet after the disc is loaded too. Only 4 stars because I haven't used all functions yet. Bought on sale $40 down from $60.

Easy to hook up to my new computer that came without a cd drive. Plug & play. Does just what it’s supposed to without any problems. Not the cheapest, but seems quite sturdy & looks good on desktop.

I connected this device to my MacBook Air without problems and it works fine with CDs and DVDs. I have not yet tried it with anything else. If I had to quibble, I would say it could still be a few ounces lighter.

This is very compact very light and it does a lot for the age that we live in where computers try to get the most out of what they can put inside of it a lot leave out disk drives which I'm fine with that LG is a great company and I stand by their products.

This is the second of these I purchased. The first has been flawless for a couple of years. This one had a problem with the fifth CD I played. It behaved like it was playing an LP that had a scratch, repeating the same music over and over. I have since tried other CDs and even the "problem" CD and have not been able to duplicate the issue. I hope I just experienced a transient problem and it behaves like the first purchase over time.

Have you noticed your new pc doesn't have a DVD drive? Get one or even two of these while you can.

This digital printer save me a lifetime of trips when it came to uploading my disposable pictures to my computer. Not only is it easy to use but to install as well.

After my iMac's internal "SuperDrive" died, Apple wanted about $200 to fix it. As I've done since the first Mac I'd owned in 1988 blew out it's internal 800k floppy drive, I looked for a 3rd party solution for an expensive mechanical fix for an Apple product. This small, unobtrusive unit fits neatly on the "pedestal" of current iMac's and the aluminum case means it blends right in. Reads CD's and DVD's no problem. Does what I need it to do. Only issue is I wish the eject button on the unit would work properly with Macs, but at least there's a sticker right on top telling you to use the eject function in whatever app you're using.

An another great product from LG. I have had great luck in the past with LG and it continues on. Having the power included in the single connector makes hookup a dream we're USB connections are at a premium. Plus it works great.

Works well! A little loud but works fine. Easy to set up, simple to operate.

Great for adding a disc drive to a laptop that doesn’t have a disc drive built in it already. Now I can watch movies if I want by using this and my laptop.
