I love the fact that the inside does not come on the outside to insert the disk. It actually takes the cd in and I do not have to work about breaking it. It works so well. I am so happy for this time.

Great for adding a disc drive to a laptop that doesn’t have a disc drive built in it already. Now I can watch movies if I want by using this and my laptop.

5th one I've bought.Transfer all my downloaded videoes into the hard drive and then record on DVd when i find the time.Fast and functional,i use all five.1st LG i've bought,my other 4 are Samsung 1 TB

Purchased for my wife's laptop, she is very pleased with the product. She is now able to use the many cd's and dvd's she has on a number of different subjects. I scored a bunch of "brownie points" with this purchase!!! YEA me!!!

Had a hard time finding a external drive that worked with the new surface pro 3 but this one seems to be working good with things I have wanted it to work with. Am really pleased with it.

Worth the price, does the same thing as the one u get on a computer, but this saves u about $200. That's what I did, when I bought a new All-In-One.

This dvd player was very easy to install and is very easy to use. My new laptop did not have a dvd player included. This one is worth the money considering the necessity of having one.

Have you noticed your new pc doesn't have a DVD drive? Get one or even two of these while you can.

Good USB DVD/CD burner for laptops or computers with broken readers/burners or as a second drive for copying/archiving data. Simple installation and straightforward operation on most operating systems, it is a good investment.

Purchased this so we could watch something on our trip. It was not expensive and worked great. It was compatible with our mac. Would buy again.

This DVD writer/player is sleek, works as advertised, and is easy to set up. Now I can play and use DVDs with my newest laptop that did not come with a DVD drive. Best of all, it was on sale!

I have only used the LG - 8x External Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW SuperMulti Blade Drive on my MacBook Pro mid 2015 a few times since purchase. However, it performed extremely well and I am happy with my purchase.

Works perfectly and is a few bucks cheaper than the SuperDrive. Docking it a star however as Best Buy's price is significantly higher on this than all other retailers.

It works much better than the cheaper model, which I had to replace twice. I did have to blow it out a couple of times when it would stop by itself, but once it was cleared it was fine.

Since laptops no longer come with a CD/DVD player, I need an external one to long some of my older programs. This did the trick. No issues with reading any of my CD/DVD's.

I bought this to go along my new computer purchase ( HP Envy) that didn’t have a cd/dvd drive. It’s quick and has performed flawlessly.

Sad that they no longer make laptops with cd or dvd capabilities. This option did work for what we needed.

This drive is well made. It connected to my Windows PC without any issues, and worked well right out of the box. I bought it to replace a cheaper drive that did not play nicely with my computer.

Works well! A little loud but works fine. Easy to set up, simple to operate.
