This external drive was on special with the purchase of a laptop. Even though I have only used it a few times, I already like it more than my old laptops disc drive, but time will tell.

My new Mac doesn't have an internal DVD drive, this one works well.

It works! It's small, attractive, portable and it works.

I have only had this product a short time, no issues so far. My only complaint at this point is that you have to download software to utilize it. And the instructions don't recommend which ones are the most compatable. Best buy employees didn't even know which one to download. After several trials I finally found one, but I almost returned the product. It was much easier when the disk drives were in the computer.

It runs quite and works great with macbook. Macbook dvd player could not play some DVDs I had and had to download other players from the app store.

I use this product at work and boots quickly and is easy to use. This product is inexpensive and a good bang for your buck.

When I first tried to use it, it hummed but nothing appeared on my computer. Tried again and had my pictures, which were an impetus for buying the drive, and Turbo Tax. Looking forward to downloading all of my photos.

Bought this little baby after I realized my new MacBook didn't have one. It was on sale too! I've had ZERO issues. All you do is plug it in and go. No set up required.

I couldn't bring myself to overspend on an apple external DVD drive. This item works great. It has a small footprint which allows me to use more of my desktop when using the DVD player. The only downside is that in order to eject a disc when using with a Mac, one must press the disc eject button within the OS finder window.

This is the best DVD player i have. It is user friendly and plays DVDs with a great picture. Almost Blu-ray quality

I bought this to replace an older drive that was just simply dying. I put it on a MAC laptop and it works seamlessly. Love that it is no fuss no muss.

I've never had to buy an external drive so this is a first for me. Operating it was quick and without problems; I just plugged it in and voila!

This drive is easy to use and work with. It is great as a secondary drive or in lieu of your primary disc drive in case of a malfunction.

I needed a solid portable DVD drive, as the laptop I purchased did not come with one. There are still those times that a drive is needed. There were other less expensive ones, but they all seemed flimsy.

We use this for watching DVDs on a iMac. Sometimes it's easier than firing up the big screen TV and DVD player for just 1 person. It doesn't play Blu-ray, a minor inconvenience and it doesn't have a physical eject button. It's otherwise a nice compact unit with only the one USB cord and easy to find desk space to put it on.

Works great on my iMac and Macbook air - burns at 8x on DVD even DL discs - just as good as superdrive and much cheaper - thanks LG!!

Excellent Product! I Use This To Burn My CD's Into iTunes. This Unit Is Far Quicker Than The Previous Unit I Used. Highly Recommend!
