I have only had this product a short time, no issues so far. My only complaint at this point is that you have to download software to utilize it. And the instructions don't recommend which ones are the most compatable. Best buy employees didn't even know which one to download. After several trials I finally found one, but I almost returned the product. It was much easier when the disk drives were in the computer.

It runs quite and works great with macbook. Macbook dvd player could not play some DVDs I had and had to download other players from the app store.

Love the device. It works with both my mac and my pc.

This is the best DVD player i have. It is user friendly and plays DVDs with a great picture. Almost Blu-ray quality

When I first tried to use it, it hummed but nothing appeared on my computer. Tried again and had my pictures, which were an impetus for buying the drive, and Turbo Tax. Looking forward to downloading all of my photos.

I've never had to buy an external drive so this is a first for me. Operating it was quick and without problems; I just plugged it in and voila!

I bought this to replace an older drive that was just simply dying. I put it on a MAC laptop and it works seamlessly. Love that it is no fuss no muss.

We use this for watching DVDs on a iMac. Sometimes it's easier than firing up the big screen TV and DVD player for just 1 person. It doesn't play Blu-ray, a minor inconvenience and it doesn't have a physical eject button. It's otherwise a nice compact unit with only the one USB cord and easy to find desk space to put it on.

Bought this little baby after I realized my new MacBook didn't have one. It was on sale too! I've had ZERO issues. All you do is plug it in and go. No set up required.

I couldn't bring myself to overspend on an apple external DVD drive. This item works great. It has a small footprint which allows me to use more of my desktop when using the DVD player. The only downside is that in order to eject a disc when using with a Mac, one must press the disc eject button within the OS finder window.

Easy to use and doesn’t take a whole lot to set up. Needed an external drive and this fit the bill.

Worked grate loading my legacy software onto my laptop, with one exception (I think it's a 3.5 inch disk), that just would not load, I think because you slide the disks in the slot. Took some effort to get it out after my attempt.

Sure, personal computing has long followed business computing and is disk-less on the desktop. These days cloud computing rules.I still require a DVD read/write device in my SOHO and this LG SuperMulti Blade Drive fills the bill very well for me. I got it delivered promptly from Best Buy and really enjoy it.

This drive is easy to use and work with. It is great as a secondary drive or in lieu of your primary disc drive in case of a malfunction.
