I love that it has split screen. It’s a great monitor and I would highly recommend it to others.

overall great quality only thing that would be nice is if the advertising said no speakers in the monitor along those lines.

Hard to stream with, and randomly half the screen went white in the middle of a game but i belive i just got a defective one

Graphics are cool. Hooked up to the Nintendo Switch. Still trying to crack the nut on sound. Wish there was a USB port or Bluetooth for an external speaker. Or, build one into the monitor for when playing on a game console.

Good for games but not good for general computing work

Will start off by saying almost everything about this monitor is amazing. Obviously OLED brings amazing colors, the infinite contrast, and that being paired with the high refresh rate makes for an awesome combo. Curve is a bit aggressive but doesn’t take much time at all to get used to. Anyone who says the PPI is too low for gaming probably hasn’t gamed on one of these panels because it is still a very sharp image. I do however want to mention the VRR flicker. I was playing Returnal and was running the first level which is a dark area. The VRR flicker was extremely distracting, I mean this is what i would consider unplayable. I thought ok cool will just shut it off when i play darker games. Later that day played a match of Fortnite that was during the daytime in game and the flicker was still noticeable and again, highly distracting. I just don’t see anyone talking about this in their reviews or see many reviewers on youtube bringing it up outside of Rtings and Monitors Unboxed. It is a big issue and people buying, not just this, but any OLED monitor should be aware of it as it is an issue. This however, is not a deal breaker for me as i have just decided to keep VRR off and I havent really noticed a difference, no noticeable tearing or stutter without it on so overall still very happy with the purchase. The picture quality and motion handling are unmatched!

This is the largest computer display I've owned. I was a somewhat concerned about resolution, considering this is at 1440 (not 4K or 5K), but ideally this is a resolution for gaming as it is more common for having higher refresh rates. The higher resolutions are beginning to see this, but those also take considerable graphics horsepower in your computer to drive them. So since I wanted to experience this display as a gaming rig, I was ok with this. The refresh is 240Hz and this is also the highest refresh I've owned. I have used a smaller display at 1440 res with a 165Hz refresh before and it was great, but this is another level. To top it off, this is also OLED. I was also really interested in this, mostly for the vibrance of color. What I notice on this because it's a matte finish, while most OLEDs I've experienced have had a reflective finish, is that the colors aren't as saturated, but they are definitely gorgeous. And the matte finish is so nice for avoiding eye fatigue. It's rated HDR400, so it's techincally HDR capable, but I wouldn't say it's the brightest. I feel like the industry is still trying to figure this out with OLED. FPS games on this are amazing, with the high refresh, the vibrance, and the curve of the display. Oh yeah, the curve on this display is really cool. I was on the fence about this, as my last monitor for gaming was smaller and flat. I got to the point of appreciating the flat view, but this thing is almost a light VR experience, I can have proper peripheral views as I'm playing and get a feel for surroundings rather than having to dart my view across the flat display. It's subtle, but noticeably more fun. I also really enjoy using this display for games that rely on maps/global views/strategy views because of the curvature. I've used this display with both Windows and Mac machines and I will say that Windows handles this resolution at this size and at this refresh better than the MacOS in my opinion. I feel like the MacOS handling of displays are limited to the onboard displays for laptops better than external displays. You get used to it, but they feel more fuzzy than what you can get with Windows 11. I've also driven this with a 4060, 3070TI, and an M1 Macbook Pro, and all didn't sweat in the least. No flickering, not graphics issues, and they all recognized the display perfectly. They were all connected through HDMI, I've not tried the DP connection yet. It gives you one DP and two HDMI inputs. It also provides a USB hub, with a provided cable to connect to your PC so I have my keyboard and mouse plugged into the display and can easily swap machines with one USB connection. Overall, using LG's OLED technology with a super high refresh and a really fast response (0.03ms), that is G-Sync and Freesync compatible has been a joy. I understand you can get this display in multiple sizes, an even larger 45 inch and a smaller 32 inch, but for me the 39 inch has been the sweet spot. I highly recommend this display if you are a gamer, or if you just want a high refresh rate to work or just for general use.

Bought this back at beginning of year had to send in for repair less than 5 months and now had it back for a month and its doing the same thing again and they want me to send it back again for repair

Didn't work when bought as an excellent condition open box. I bought the warranty, but apparently it only covers replacements. Since it was an open box, I was told I needed to cover the differnce or pay $180 to get it repaired. Whats the point in selling a "warranty" if I can't actually use it and it doesnt cover repairs.

The LG monitor did not work for me at all. And a loud noise would come on automatically when turning off and turning on I exchanged the monitor with an identical monitor and the same thing happened Fortunately, Bedt Buy Tech support recommended a MSI monitor and it works perfectly Thx Geek Squad!
