Written February 2026 for the 39” 1440p 240hz model, in White colorway for $800 US on a 50% off sale. Why 4 stars and not 5? Well, youve just gotta know what youre getting here and temper your expectations. If you think this is the end all be all perfect monitor, you might have your hopes too high. Theres a reason it was 50% off when I bought it, there are newer panels coming out this year that are pretty insane. However, if you think this might be the perfect large screen OLED ultrawide so as not to have too low of a PPI like the 45”, but larger (and more importantly taller) than a 34” ultrawide, you might be onto something. If youre looking for perfect text clarity as well as high framerate ultrawide oled gaming, you might be disappointed by the text clairty, but not necessarily the gaming performance. This monitor is a great balance between saturating my 5070 GPU at 1440p ultrawide 240hz without leaving either frames or resolution on the table if you opt for the new 5K2K, which im not even sure can be saturated by a 5090. Guess it depends on which games you play. But for me, this 39” monitor strikes a great balance, especially on sale ($800 US in Jan 2026).

Overall a beautiful monitor. One thing that was not really mentioned anywhere is VRR Flicker on OLED Panels (look into it if your thinking of buying OLED and no it’s not specific to this monitor). Other than that, this monitor is amazing.

The monitor has a great picture on it. Much like the previous model 39GS95QE-B.AUS. WebOS is ok for my first time ever using it. Although WebOS has more features and functionality, I think the settings in the previous model were easier to use and find. My biggest issue is I cannot get the monitor to go in standby mode and do a pixel clean on its own. Contacting LG was no real help as they initially told me it didnt have a standby mode. I had to take images and show the guy it did. Every time it has inactivity, it says no input, attempts to go in standby and then comes back out and starts the no input again. This is the same across three systems. I even tried to turn off the network on the monitor and unplug the current selected input to see if that would help. It did not. I had no issues with the previous model going in standby and cleaning itself. Hopefully they get this fixed soon.

Love love love this monitor! Cant speak to the gaming features as I just use it as my home work computer. Screen is bright and beautiful. Size is great too, was worried about “downsizing” from 2-27” monitors but this feels bigger somehow! Highly recommend.
