This monitor is probably a good monitor . However when I purchased this the store gave me an open box model when I was suppose to get a new one. The open box model had finger prints all over the screen , and a big dent on top. Had to return.

This is not a review for the product, which I love (aside from the deal pixel causing my issue). This is a review for BestBuy customer service in the hopes that someone actually listens to me here, rather than when I call and get constantly transferred to other departments until I finally give up and hang up the phone, which is, I'm sure, the point.
I purchased an open-box one of these monitors last week. It was supposed to be in 'Excellent' condition with no defects. When I got home and set it up, I noticed a dead pixel on the screen. Because the store is about 45 minutes from my house and it's a big monitor which is a pain in the butt to re-pack up and take back to the store (and because the salesperson at the store told me that if I opened it and it was damaged I should call and they could probably give me a discount rather than having me bring it back to the store) I called to see if I could get a discount because this was clearly not in 'Excellent' condition, it is, in fact, defective.
It took me 45 minutes and 3 separate calls to actually talk to someone at the store, who eventually offered me a small discount on the price, which I accepted, figuring I could deal with the dead pixel if I got a discount.
The discount I was told I would receive has still not appeared on my account and when I called again today and spent another 30 minutes on hold/being transferred, I was basically told there was nothing they were going to do for me and I just had to bring it back to the store.
I have tried to purchase from my local BestBuy rather than the online shops because I think it benefits our local community; however, I purchased a defective lawnmower from an online BestBuy competitor over the summer and when I called to tell them about it, they sent a person to my house to pack it back up and take it away while bringing a new lawn mower with them. Now, I'm not asking for BestBuy to do that here, but putting all the effort on the customer to right a wrong that they had no fault in doesn't feel right, and just makes me not want to continue to spend my money at their store.
I wasn't asking for much, and now I'm left annoyed and shopping at Amazon for the things I used to buy at Best Buy. Boo BestBuy.

I just bought this and hooked it up to replace my LG C2 42 because i wantet to try ultrawide. First things first, ultrawide is awesome but thats where the good stops. Sure the ultrawide gets black but the colors and clarity are not even in the same realm as my ~10 year old LG C8. I was so excited to get it setup just to be so disappointed. It seriously looks disgusting. Im kinda thinking I got a bad panel because i can see discolored vertical lines all over as well. Utter trash.

I loved the dimensions of this computer. At 18" viewing height and 39" viewing width, its the perfect size for productivity. I can see a full size 8.5x11 document comfortably (w/2k resolution) without needing to scroll and can also see a large excel document without as much lateral scrolling. I also loved the curve, which made both extremes of the sides easy to see. However, text was blurry, glarey, and had a shadow, which I've come to learn is an issue with OLED, so I had to return it. It cannot be used for productivity due to the OLED.
