Simple, No Frills UHD 4K Blu-ray Player

My TV and Apple TV have more than enough streaming options, but I just needed the capability to view UHD Blu-rays, so this fit the bill perfectly for my needs. Menus are a bit dated, but again, I just want to fire up the player, insert the disc and play - this blu-ray player does this to perfection. 4K output using HDMI 2.0 cables to my Samsung 4K television looks great.

No frills for the occasional need...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a "no frills" CD/DVD burner that comes out from time to time for the occasional needs: ripping music disks, making a photo disk to mail to grandma, transferring those video collections to the computer or media server. So many desktops and especially laptops don't include the CD/DVD burners any more, and this USB portable helps fill in the blanks when needed. Good price and easy setup - just plug and play on Windows 10.

Amazing entry level 4K player.

I have been itching to get into 4K blu ray since online 4K sources certainly lack fidelity and leave a lot to be desired for audio. This player did not disappoint. I have no need for apps since my TV has that covered, so the lack of apps is not a detriment. After the initial update, the player is good to go. Easy to navigate menu along with a quick interface makes for a good player.
