Many reviews note that this player does not have WiFi or any of the applications usually found on Smart units. However, its excellent video capabilities matched with an HDR capable Smart TV and high quality sound system eliminated those concerns for me. I have learned that the order in which devices are powered up seems to matter--the unit inexplicably at times refuses to accept my HDMI connection pass-through from receiver to TV, asking for component connection instead.

Plays 4K DVDs and was only $99! Exactly what we were looking for and is user friendly!

I had an LG UP875 and took it back because it wouldn't let me resume movies once I turned it off. This player does that and it loads movies faster. Bonus is that because I have a Sony 4k TV, I can control the player with the TV remote. The picture is great and sound is great. It also has streaming apps but I don't use them because my TV has the same apps. Overall, it's a worthwhile purchase.

Got this player for $79 bucks on sale and I am very pleased with this purchase. I have been looking for a UHD Bluray player for a while and I stumbled across this player. It plays UHD blurays without a hitch. It loads extremly fast. Picture and sound is very good. Only negative, and for this price is not really a complaint, is that it does not support Dolby Vision. Overall great purchase.

I bought this to go with an UHD TV. The picture is great and was simple to set up.

This is a very good player and definitely came at such a good price. We bought it during their black friday sale and it was literally the best priced player at the time beating out the others. it works very effectively and plays the movies so smoothly even doing some upscaling as needed based on the movie. However in order to truly utilize it make sure the tv you have it hooked to is 4K

Easy to setup with my OLED TV. Performs well with my soundbar and other components.

As tech in TV and video advances LG is the best quality and value for me. Thought I had a good Blu--ray in Sony. LG has proven itself to me. 4K picture quality and function of the player and remote are very good. Plus as always Best Buy deals are best. Christmas is for sure the best time to buy. In the last year I have purchased 4 TV, 2 Blu-ray and 2 Sound bars. ( LG SH3K). Highly recommend!

Couldn't beat the price of this open box 4K player. Works as advertised just wish it had a display on it.

This is a pretty straight forward 4K Blu-ray player. It doesn’t have any apps to watch streaming services, and internet connection can only be wired. You don’t need to connect to internet other than for updating the firmware on the player. . . If all you’re looking for is a 4K player (it also upscales Blu-ray and dvd), then I’d recommend this one. Save your $$$

Definitely a great value for what it is. I'm happy with the video and audio quality and easy installation.

Great picture quality, I only wish that it didn't need to be hard wired to the internet for certain features.
