The best one yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent wifi. Easy to set up. Like the different 'channels '

Parental control VERY WEAK
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No issue with setup of speed, but if you want parental protection look elsewhere. It can control access time for connected devices, but if you want to inhibit adult sites, you must type EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY to prohibit. IMPOSSIBLE and limited to ten sites. Rediculous

This is a great product.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the most seamless operations to hook up and get going of anything we have purchased. Hooked it up through the wireless connection on desktop at first to set it up the after that hooked it up through hardwire connection. All wireless connections are extremely fast and saves data charges on cell phones. Great product and online website.

Excellent solid router!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Linksys routers for several years and I have never been left disappointed. The LInksys EA9300 is no different. It has easy setup that you would expect from a router in 2017. The Linksys app is really great too. They have really improved it over the last year. The online utility is a breeze to work with as well. As for performance this router was excellent. I got fast speeds through the house but with some slower spots. My router and modem are located in the basement so the concrete sometimes weakens the signal depending on where I am in the house. I can't speak to the 4k streaming capabilities but gaming, 1080P streaming and web surfing are all excellent. In my house we have up to 3 devices streaming Netflix and one console gaming online and this router has no trouble pushing a fast solid signal to all the devices. Overall this is an excellent router and I think you will be pleased.

Good Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router in my home died. My son, who builds and services computer and computer systems for a living, took me to Best Buy, where he commended and we purchased this router as a replacement. It has plenty of range for the entire house, which is rather large. Overall, it seems to be a good, reliable product.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a NetGear router that would frequently drop internet connection requiring system reset often. Linksys router was easy to setup and has not dropped a connection once. Coverage is good throughout a fairly large home. Never have to reset the system. Software and phone app allows remote access and works well.

Every thing was excellent in service and product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Integrated the Router with special hardware equipment including my wireless setup with my Orion Telescope. Equipment worked especially well and the Tri-Band capabilities allowed me to control the data flows to between the camera systems and the telescope control systems.. I highly recommend this router system..

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to upgrade a very old wireless router. This product actually has more capability than I need, but it was on sale for a great price and it was available at my local Best Buy, so I got it. Easy to set up and my reception is great in all corners of my 2 story house.

Has bugs....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, if you make one SSID and merge both bands and shut off the guest network, my SSID still shows up duplicated so you'll connect to "therealslojack" and still see another "therealslojack in the wifi list, but you cant connect to that one. If you unpplug the router, they both disappear. the other issue is if you give different names to the 2.4 and 5ghz bands, you'd expect to see therealslojack_2.4ghz and therealslojack_5ghz or something like that, but you dont, you'll see "theralslojack" and then see "therealslojck" missing one letter "a" and you cant hook up to this one either. So strange. In the picture, the names should be therealslojack for both as they are in the settings and I checked many times that the spelling is correct and saved....but this is what happens.

The SSID's shouldn't be misspelled. For this matter, please make sure that your Linksys router's firmware is up to date. To assist you further with your case, shoot us an email at [email protected] with more details regarding your desired configuration for the unit; we'll have our Escalation Engineers check on it. Best router for the house
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This to me is the best router you can buy if you want to cover your entire house. I put this device in a corner of my basement and I still get a great signal even on the second floor. Great speed, great features, great firewall. Can't go wrong

Phenomenal Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased many routers over the years, by far this Linksys beats them all in coverage area and WiFi stability, I have purchased many high end routers but none provided WiFi coverage to my entire home until I purchased this router. I love it!!

Easy setup, poor 5GHz performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router has a very simple setup and the 2.4GHz band works fine. But this router has a lot of trouble the 5GHz bands. It constantly loses connection to the 5GHz networks and some spots in my house are completely unusable on a 5GHz network. With previous routers I never had dead spots like this. I called Linksys and they couldn't fix the problem even after talking on the phone for over an hour. Restored the router to factory settings with very little improvement. If I was still within the return window I would definitely return and get something else.

Posted .Hi Mace,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Though the 5GHz signal has a higher bandwidth, it actually has a shorter signal range than the 2.4GHz network. If you are a room, or two away from the router, we suggest that you connect to the 2.4GHz network to ensure signal stability.
For further assistance, get in touch with us at [email protected] so that we can have our Second Level Technicians assist you.
We hope to hear from you soon.
