Wonderful headphones with the ability to switch between two game systems

I’ve been using the Astros for a few days now and I have been enjoying them very much. They are very comfortable I have a big head and have issue with hats and these maxed out fit perfect I will say it is scarily close to having the strap bottoming out. But even with that they are comfortable after a long game session. They are very light adding to the comfort even with a battery installed. I use them in first person shooters, and using them while playing some racing games. The sound is decent but the volume loudness for me at least has me wanting more. It like 1-2 notches low for my liking. The do have some decent sound fidelity and bass to them. The battery life is very good I’ve had a few long sessions and haven’t had to charge them. The looks are pretty good the RGB is a very nice touch to really give it that gamer aesthetic that really pushes them over the edge. As the gamer, I really enjoy these and the ability to connect two devices simultaneously (Technically 3 with Bluetooth) it super nice. I hate having to swap my dongle over whenever i want to use a different device. I have the ability to plug in a USB into two of my devices and have it con connect to its hub and am able to switch seamlessly with the playsync button. Definitely a game changer. For gamers that want a light, comfortable, long lasting, and aesthetically pleasing headset these are them.

The Logitech G Astro A20 X is THE headset for gamers that use multiple platforms. So why the 4 stars then? It's due to the only con I could find while being extremely picky about this headset. In short, there isn't enough fit adjustment for those with smaller heads. That's the only gripe. If it had one more adjustment notch to make it fit better, or if a slightly smaller band was provided this would be a 5 star review. As it was I "customized" the adjustment band to fit me better. On to the good. Battery life- Most excellent. 35 hours of gaming over a week and a half and it was still going strong, even with the RGB on for most of that time. Very impressive. Sound quality is excellent. You can hear everything in games, especially people trying to sneak up on you in FPS games. It's like being immersed in the world. Microphone quality is also great. My gaming buddies said I sounded more natural, less ambient noise, with almost a "podcast" type quality to it. No distortion, far away, tinny, or in-a-tunnel sound. Boom microphone is removeable and doesn't have as much adjustment as I would like for placement, but not worth taking a star off since the quality is excellent. Pairing with a bluetooth system like a PC or Phone is fast and easy. No discernable lag when on bluetooth. Switching from Xbox to PC and back happens in a flash. The controls for muting, and changing volume are perfectly placed on the left side and easy to use. Earcups are comfortable, and so far haven't created the dreaded "Hot ear syndrome" like most headsets. The Logitech android app for adjusting the RGB works flawlessly and is intuitive for adjusting the RGB. All in all, this is a 5 star headset for most gamers. It would be for me with a second adjustment strap that's slightly smaller.

Feels cheap, uncomfortable and very poor sound. Even at max volume everything sounded faint. No ability to customize audio like adding bass tones or anything.

Automatically lowered the volume on pc. Purchased this in the hope that I would be able to switch easily between PC and xbox.

The Logitech G Astro A20X offers a decent package for gamers seeking a flexible and reliable wireless headset, though it comes with a few sonic compromises. Audio Performance: While the headset delivers decent overall sound, it lacks depth, particularly in the lower frequencies. While I felt immersed in the games I played, this isn’t the headset I’d choose to listen to music during non-gaming time. However, the A20X was excellent for calls, both hearing people on the other end as well as them hearing me clearly. The microphone was also fairly effective at reducing background sounds. In games positional audio cues were clear and precise, and dialogue is easy to understand. Design and Aesthetics: The A20X joins Logitech’s line up of multi-LED lite headsets. Lighting is controlled from the Logitech G app.This allows users to customize the headset's aesthetics, adding a personal touch to gaming setups. It’s very lightweight with little pressure on my head. I wore it for several hours while playing Horizon and F1. I barely realized I had it on for that long. While it’s not as isolating as some headsets I’ve worn, the additional long term comfort is a welcome trade off. Connectivity and Convenience: The A20X can connect with either Bluetooth or the included Lightning adapter. The adapter is relatively large and allows for connection to both a PC and Xbox simultaneously. The headset can easily switch between the Bluetooth and Lightning connections. Unlike other headsets, which switch automatically, this has a button to switch. The value here is the A20X will not suddenly switch in the middle of an attack just because your phone rings! It also makes set up very quick with a variety of different equipment. features, making it incredibly user-friendly. While long range is not typically needed when you’re gaming, I walked around to get a feel for any possible interference. The headset stayed locked in to my PC all around my house, so I’d expect it will be very solid in nearly any situation. Overall: This headset certainly meets a need with solid performance, light weight, and strong connectivity. The convenience and control this headset provides make it a worthy option backed by Logitech’s reputation for excellence.

This is probably the most complete, amazingly universal wireless gaming headset I've ever had the opportunity to use. I say this because there is a dongle that you can plug in multiple systems to that allows you to switch at the toggle press of a button on the actual headset itself to go between different sources called playsync. Now though this technology isn't new, the whole concept of a base station and being able to switch between sources or systems usually cost a lot more money or has a major drawback where as this does not! Beyond this dongle and being able to switch between two systems this headset also has a Bluetooth mode built-in to connect your phone. That said I have been using these for both gaming with my Xbox series X, PS5, switch and to play music with my phone as well as light gaming just because I can. One of the reasons I was able to do this is it also has a detachable or unplugged microphone instead of just flipping up so I can play the part of just headphones when needed in my case to listen to music or also with my PC which I already have a dedicated mic for. There is the ability to adjust game and voice balance as there always should be on these gaming headsets making it infinitely customizable to your desire which is perfect. Granted I would say this sound quality is not as good as dedicated music headphones specifically for listening to music that should be obvious. Though they can do the job and the battery life is very good. If you have RGB off you can get up to 90 hours or 40 with it on. It's compatible with the G hub plus mobile app. Speaking of battery these have fast charging so if they do end up dying you can charge for 5 minutes (say during a bio break) to get 1.5 hours battery back to stay pumping which is always an appreciated feature for an item like this. Comfort is top notch with an adjustable headband thats also replaceable there is no hot spot to be found here and it is small to big head approved as it’s a very universal style design. I dont think it gets any better than this for features and ability I have to say and for this being a more entry level device I think Astro / Logitech has really taken this style headset to the next level.

So I just received my new Logitech A20X LightSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset w/PlaySync Audio for XBOX a few days ago and have been putting it through its paces. Logitech is a brand that gamers and everyday users have come to love with their vast product lineup from keyboards to mice. Logitech has been around for a while and continue to reign as one of the top manufactures of computer/gaming peripherals in the industry. So when this headset came along I knew I had to snag it for my XBOX X. Before jumping into the deep-end, take a moment to familiarize yourself with all of the buttons and controls on the headset. You can follow along with the included user manual to familiarize yourself with everything and how to get it setup. Once you have familiarized yourself with the headset as well as the PLAYSYNC Base, you’re ready to go. After I completed setting everything up to my Xbox X, I loaded up a game. As the game started I was completely blown away with the amazing sound quality of the headset. It was very immersive feeling as though I was in the middle of the action. I could hear different sounds and footsteps coming the left and right earcuffs, which were very comfortable. I noticed that after wearing the headset for over an hour that my ears were not hurting like other headsets that I’ve tried in the past. Now this particular headset is designed for the Xbox series, however, like most headsets, it is also compatible with the PS5 as well as the Nintendo Switch line, or for PC gaming. For PC gamin you can download the G-Hub software from Logitech’s website for further audio tweaking to your like or download the G app from the App Store. Between its sleek and solid design to the RGB lighting on the earcuffs as well as its lightweight feel and superior sound quality, I will most definitely be using this headset for quite some time. Just comfortability all around including the stretchy headband.
