I'm using the camera to monitor when some lights turn on and off at night. There's a low resolution option that keeps these files at a reasonable size. Logitec's software makes it easy to scroll through the files to note the times the light turns on or off. The only negative is that the app's clock starts at zero instead of the actual time, so you have to note the time you start recording and then add that to the time shown in the recording

I was able to install this camera and get it working with Google Hangouts this in minutes. The picture quality is decent, not fantastic.

Not a bad little camera for starting out. I got it because I started live streaming on Twitch. For someone who had just started, this camera was sufficient. I have learned if you do want something a little nicer, I would definitely go for the c920 or even the 922. Especially if you are going to be streaming or using the camera on the regular. For a kid, I'd definitely say this is perfect.

Very easy to setup. PnP standard webcam @ 720p performance. Budget yet super sharp image.

Good for a bargain camera. If the room has bad lighting or outside light it could work better. It tries to adjust to the light in the room and sometimes it doesn't work so well. Average picture and the sound pickup (mic) works great almost the best part of the camera imo

I thought is was easy to use. And it was easy to set up. still looking for apps that work for me but has worked well with the ones I have tried.

Finding a webcam today is a race! Had to get 3 for the family. This basic one is great for young student learning. Nothing fancy. Not supported for use with Logitech Capture software, you'll need a 920 or higher for that. Gamers will not be happy with this. Good enough for Zoom calls, classroom and chats. If you are presenting or doing video for broadcast, you'll need to upgrade. Good luck with your search!

Solid webcam. Exactly as advertised and pretty nice for the price. The mic is kinda bad but I don't mind.
