Awkward - major step backwards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using Harmony remotes for a long time, mainly (as I’ve told anyone interested) because they’re really THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN. That aside, I was fairly satisfied with the Harmony One that this remote replaced. The absence of physical number buttons makes this remote almost un-usable with a cable TV account. The touch screen is just not responsive enough to enter numbers on, especially anything beyond 2-digits, you just can’t do it fast enough as it usually seems to take a couple presses. While I haven't used it, I would really recommend you go with the (much cheaper) 650, especially for cable as you will really need the number buttons. I also have a big thumbs down for Best Buy, who took waaaaay to long to deliver this item which was in stock just a couple miles away from me. When I ordered they said 2-days but it was closer to 10.

Very poor design for a universal remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a big fan of Logitech products. However this is the worst product they ever made. Very poor design. The remote is very short and sits awkward in the palm. The main function buttons are in the wrong spot. Only plus is the preset station favorites. Returned to Best Buy. Will keep using my old Harmony 650.

think before you buy worse costumer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After one year of use the back of the remote start to get sticky i never use any product to clean the remote was just wipe with some fabric. I call the customer service and they told me to take the rubber part out! A remote control that cost more than $500 with out parts for service?! Seriouslly?!?! I don't not recommend any remote control from Logitech. This will be useless in one year or you buy a extend warranty form best buy. That i extreme recommend !!!!!!

Too complicated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not get it work on my Mac computer and I called the help line and I was put on hold for 2 hours I left the phone on just to see how long it would take and after that I just hung up. I purchased a motorized screen and was looking for a remote to work everything and this was not it. Still looking for a remote if anyone has a idea.

Poorly Designed Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote is a pain to operate. The touch screen is not very responsive. If it is not aimed directly at all devices, it gets confused. It might turn some of the devices on or off. It is a nuisance to correct. It is not intuitive when trying to change channels. If I had it to do it over, I would never buy this thing.

a waste of time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't worth trying to use to control all your devices. The swipe screen is too sensitive too the touch so it activates too easily. its hard to find the right controls and it tries to fix itself but fails. I'm better off with the remotes that came with the a/V equipment.

Had it a few weeks and it stop working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had many Logitech remotes over the years. The previous version of this remote was much better. The fact that this stopped working after a few weeks is a big disappointment considering, especially, how expensive it is. A $10 remote would work as well. I will be returning this as soon as I can (since it is useless).

Look for alternative
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote is very tricky to use, typically after using a remote my fingers are able to memorize the keys. The problem is that the middle are is a touch panel screen that can easily morph into different pass. For example, it can be a numbers pad or a channel pad. You have to keep track of what screen you are in to operate and constantly be confirming your window instead of eyes on the Tele. What's worse is the touch panel is sensitive and very often thinks I hit the stop button forcing me out of viewing a recording and onto live TV which is getting highly annoying. This is simply not worth it.

So so
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an ok remote but in my opinion has major ergonomic issues. The controls should be placed differently, the menu is CONFUSING AS CAN POSSIBLY BE!! I will add that the setup is better on the My Harmony site. I still use my old 650,just can't groove with this new one.

Poor excuse for a high end Harmony.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MyHarmony.com page is a sad excuse for a replacement of the previous software. Layout is very poorly designed. The remote is not near as flexible as it should be for this price range. Touch gestures are pointless.

Too Hard To Use - Returned It
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a previous model of Harmony remote and was happy. I bought this one because of the touch screen and because of the sale price of $99. It does not properly control the Apple TV. The touchscreen is neat to look at but does not offer much useful functionality. One thing it does do well is that it turns all the devices on and off quickly - almost instantly. My old remote takes several seconds to perform this task.

Terrible remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to link to my computer. I tried two different desktops and a laptop. I deleted the program and reinstalled it. No matter what I tried, it would not recognize it when I plugged it into the computer. I returned the first remote thinking I had just bought a defective one. The second one, new out of the box, same problem. I also tried multiple USB cords with the same results.

Sounded like a good idea...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A disappointing remote. Good as far a having an excellent set of pre-programmed instructions. but fails at having granular control of created macros. Fails to learn functions that are incorrectly pr-programmed. Lacks timer functions even though it has a clock. If you want an item to stay on even when the "all off" button is pressed, it can't be done. It's pretty, but for function it's back to the Sony RM-AX4000.

100% frustration
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is by far the most frustrating logitech remote i have ever had. i, honestly, dreaded using it. you never knew what you were going to get when you pressed a button. anyway, as of today, i threw it in my drawer and replaced it with a harmony 665. $49 and great. wish i did not wait so long and i had some refund or exchange options.

Still not working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had and paid for two Geek Squad visits. The devise is not working so I can not watch TV. The tecks can make it work when they are here because they are trained. When they leave I can not use it. Worst electronic product I have ever purchases and the poorest service.

Choose something else
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a fan at all of this remote. Never would turn on tv right away, turning channels was a chore as you has you hit a button like a million times to turn it. Shutting tv off with it with even having a receiver and ps4, ha, a joke. Always was lagging majorly.

Needs firmware improvement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had problems with setting up two activities of the same; the second would not work. Watch TV and Watch TV Bedroom. I spent over an hour on the phone with Logitech with the first remote I bought. After troubleshooting, I was told to exchanged. Had the same issue with the second remote.
