Would not recommend this mouse for anyone who is used to zipping around with a lightweight mouse, this mouse will slow you down. Anyone who has arthritis or any issues at all with grasping or handling objects, might find this mouse fatiguing or painful. Downloading software was not straightforward, fortunately I found the features as is were fine for me.

We returned to the old days and this works just fine. I miss not having to connect it in the front and having to install in back of computer. That's why the 3, not for reliability.

Though sometimes it feels like im wrapping my hand around a large, soft piece of iron. Its weighty, the curvature us lucious but as previously stated the thing is extra thicc. Not recommended for intense gaming.

The main reason to purchase this particular mouse is if you are interested by it's particular ergonomics. Logitech offers a variety of different mice to choose from which is great.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you are having issues with your mouse. Here are possible solutions:
Initial testing with Windows 8.1 Consumer Preview version reveals a scrolling issue with IE11 and Windows 8 apps, as well as on the Windows Start screen itself:
Moderate to fast scrolling can become unresponsive until you stop scrolling. Then, the page will jump a long distance, usually to either the beginning or the end.
We're working with Microsoft to resolve this issue.
As a workaround, you can modify your scrolling settings in IE11. Here's how:
Launch IE11.
Open Internet Options and select the Advanced tab.
In the Browsing section, clear "Use smooth scrolling".
In the Security section, clear "Enable Enhanced Protected Mode", and then click OK.
IMPORTANT: Disabling Enhanced Protected Mode degrades the security settings in IE11. Please consider this before you make this change.
Restart your computer.
Also be sure to download the software for you mouse. If you need further assistance, please contact Logitech Support on the website.

A step up over OEM, good for basic home/office use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basic features will work just fine naively within Windows 7/10, but you can get some more utility from the device by downloading the “Logitech Options” software if you choose. Somewhat frustrating, as I already have Logitech G-Hub installed, but can’t configure this particular mouse from that app, unless I’m missing something? Anyway, the mouse has a nice feel in the hand and a is tad on the lighter side in the weight category. I like the minimalist packing - no bulk, just what appears to be a decent logi product. One thing I must suggest when purchasing anything Logitech at Best Buy, opt in the extra few bucks for the Geek Squad accident protection on anything you would consider a “wear” type item. I usually don’t - but will do so proceeding forward; as the Logitech warranty return/replacement process is arduous. Not to deter, just to educate.
