Decent office mouse that's comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the mouse for a little over a week now as my main mouse for work every day. I had a cheap unbranded mouse before, so this has overall been a slight upgrade. The mouse fits nicely around my hand and is comfortable to hold and use. I'm on windows 10, so I just plugged in the mouse and started using it. It is accurate out of the box and works well. The one negative for me is the way the back and forward buttons on the side work. They are too soft, so you're not sure if you did or didn't touch them. Most mice now have these there, so while it's nice to have if you don't have a mouse with it, I am expecting more of a click. The scroll wheel also lets you click left and right, which is a neat feature but not one I'm using at all probably as its new, and I just don't feel its that useful. Overall a decent office mouse to use, and an upgrade from a cheap unbranded mouse.

Great workhorse mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great workhorse mouse. It works well, feels great in your hand, has the essential buttons and features for a non-game mouse, and it's reliable. My only issue has been that from time to time, it is not recognized by my M1 Mac Mini. To remedy the issue, I just unplug/replug it in and it works perfectly.

Good mouse at a good price.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My go to mouse for the past several years. Does the job, can take a beating, easy to take apart to clean out, and not painful to replace if it gets too old or took too many knocks. The rubber coating will wear out after a while and the base pads will one day disappear.

Posted .Appreciate the long-term loyalty and honest feedback! The M500s is built for durability, but wear on the rubber coating and base pads over time is understandable with heavy use.Your insights help us improve future designs.

Easy, smooth and ergonomic
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great, comfortable and easy. The only drawback is there's a button on the left that keeps throwing me back a page when I didn't intend to bump into it. It's a "convenience" that's more of an inconvenience. Otherwise it's a pleasure to use.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately I am technically challenged - this mouse had too much on it so I returned it and bought one that fit my capabilities.... Unfortunately also I waited 17 days before I returned it and they would not give me my money back. They have a 14 day return policy. They did give me a store credit for the $32+ charge but at this time I do not need anything else. I am 82 if that is a good excuse... To me it is!

Posted .It sounds like the Logitech M500s wasn't the right fit for you, and we completely understand that sometimes products have more features than desired, making them feel a bit overwhelming.
It's a tough situation when you miss a return window, and we're sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the store credit, especially when you don't have immediate needs. Your experience and preferences are definitely valid, and we hope the simpler mouse you found is working out perfectly!

Logitech M500s mouse - Responsive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a Microsoft wired mouse that was double-clicking with this Logitech mouse. I did that after trying everything to fix the double-click problem which can make navigating anything on the web very difficult. This mouse is very smooth and responsive. There are button customizations available to make it suit your task perfectly. I have had no problems with it except that it is shaped differently than the Microsoft mouse. The Logitech mouse conforms to the shape of a right hand. As a result, I had to get used to handling a different shape which took a few minutes but is not a real problem at all.

Wired, but bulky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great wired mouse, but for people who may have weak wrists, it may feel a bit bulky. Maybe it'll be good for people who mostly type and just scroll. But, it's not a gamer mouse.

Posted .Hello ATurtle! We're sorry the M500s design isn't fitting your needs. If you're looking for something wired for gaming, I would definitely recommend taking a look at the G203 or the G403 mice. They're both a bit smaller but still have configurable buttons and are around the same price as the M500s. Feel free to reach out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 if you ever need any assistance. Good upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse feels great on my wrist. But the packaging advertised you can program it for short cuts, which was a big selling point for me. And there are no instructions inside on how to do that. So I'm disappointed I can't utilize all the features. I still like the mouse because it is easy to hold and responds well.

Good Replacement
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Logitech mouse to replace the original mouse that came with the Dell computer. The original mouse ceased functioning after the cat knocked it off the table and it swung into the metal table leg. This mouse fits my hand well, and has a more substantial (heavier) feel to it than the original. The one feature that I miss from the old mouse is that it was easy to discern that the computer was active because the mouse's red laser was illuminated. If this new mouse has any additional cool features, I don't know, because I haven't looked.
