Cameras are of great quality. Hook up is straightforward. The software could be better. When trying to view the recorded video from the day navigating thru the 24 hours of the day is not as is expected. Instead of sliding thru the hours you have to zoom out and then back in and really can’t control where it zooms back in. Other than that the software is easy enough to operate. Do not power the box on unless you have it hooked up all the way. I powered the box up and because it wasn’t hooked up to my tv it automatically set up for higher resolution than what the tv was that I am using to monitor it. You can’t change the resolution without having access to a tv with that resolution. I had to borrow a tv to plug into it and change the resolution on the DVR. That was a pain. Now I’m set up and enjoying them. Seen a high schooler kick over my trash can yesterday. He didn’t know he was on camera.

Upgraded our old cameras to these and...wow!!! The picture quality is excellent. You can zoom in and it still a pretty good picture, clear enough to read a license plate. Great night vision too. Just do know how to get the lights on the cameras to work and wish it had sound. But over all very happy!

they have very good customer support from Lorex. The camera show very clear. Night time if there is sufficient lighting outside, the camera will show colored. The frame rate for the 4k video sucks. You have to sacrifice the 4k to get 30fps.

This was my first purchase for a home security camera and I am not disappointed at all. It was a great vale for the price. Great quality image and easy to install. My only complaint was that they should provide longer cables for installation.

Purchased this camera system as a Christmas gift. The initial hookup is very easy. We did have to buy extra 4k wire because what came with wasn't long enough. I wish additional wire could be bought at 25ft length cause that's all we needed. They only sell 100ft of the 4k wire. The camera picture is pretty good. I am still having issues viewing it from my phone. My BFs phone works but when we try to add me as an additional user it does not work. I'll need to contact lorex. I'd recommend hooking the cameras up where you have or can place spotlights on your house because the picture is way better having a light there then without.

Everything was nicely organized in the package, easy to open up, install and get running. The image comes out clear and going to playback is easy. You can watch it all or choose only when there's movement lots of memory space! The cords are all very long easy to reach anywhere in my condo. Very happy with this system. I did think it recorded sound though and it actually does not unless on its own, you have to but separate mic's for the cameras for that

Purchased on deal of the day. Good clear picture but probably need 4k monitor for crisper zoom viewing. A little cumbersome getting through all the feature setups, but managed by staying at it with some trial and error. Would be nice if this came with a audio recording camera but that apparently is a separate purchase and alarm siren a little weak but still could be an effective deterrent. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Have been a Swann guy for a decade. Was ready for upgrade to 4K and figured I would give Lorex a shot. Unit has worked flawless to date. It also has worked great with some of my old Swann cameras that I have not gotten on ladders to replace as of yet. Overall pleased with the unit, as I still get use to the new app versus what I have known for so long.

Love these cameras! Replaced some old Night Owls with these are they are awesome. Great clarity (day and night), and the night color vision is awesome! Only downside is the color night vision doesn't always work. One night it does, the following it doesn't and with no setting on this model to manually turn off infrared light.

Purchased 7/2/2019, I haven’t installed it yet because attic has been too hot to run wires. Plugged camera in to check it out and looks great. Happy that it came with 4 into 1 power plug. All 4 cameras connect to one plug for power. Could give better review after installing, but to earn points had to do by the 16th.

The system purchased also worked with our old systems cameras as the DVD fail on the old system and we were unable to replace it. The system is not completely installed at this time because of internet connection issues have not been completed. The quality of the pictures is of high quality.

The quality of the picture is great. Although I only wish I could figure out how to get the mic to work. Also, the floodlight is kind of a joke as well as the alarm. I was expecting more from the alarm at least, not so much the floodlight since it was a small single LED.

The quality is great, cameras are great, hook up was not hard to do. Only issue is that it does not work on wi-fi. If you want to use on your phone you have to have an ethernet hooked up so means more wiring. But if you want to hook up to a monitor you can.

I really like this system. The remote viewing works great and the cameras are very clear. The only downside of this system is the simple fact that it does not have wireless connectivity to my WiFi. It must be connected via Ethernet cable to have remote view.

Great camera quality, I bought it to see around my house in my country when I’m not there. Unfortunately the internet service is not so great over there which it can affect the recording
