The Samplitude is a 30 day trial. The Music Maker comes with one loop package. You'll have to purchase more loops. This is the digital version. I thought I was purchasing the DVD-ROM version. The links you're emailed are kind of confusing when it comes to setting things up on your computer. At least that was my experience. All-in-all it works. Comes in a nice box.

I would rather purchase my software as a physical product in store. The whole digital download and lengthy install process make this more of a hassle. The software performs as expected.

I don't like the fact, that the software has to be online at all time to use all of its features or some won't work.
