Don't be fooled by high efficiency driers. We went with this model because our previous high efficiency Samsung couldn't get the clothing dry at all. This unit heats up adequately and gets clothing dry much more quickly as a result. Even large loads including bedding will get dry in a normal amount of time without having to run multiple cycles.

I purchase this dryer after my 2 yr old Samsung dryer went out. I didn't like the idea of the lint trap on the Maytag on top of the machine instead of inside but I'm getting used to it. It does get the dryer dusty when you take the lint trap out but it is easily wipped away. I love the wrinkle release selection as well as the refresh. The dryer also seems way faster than my Samsung was, clothes are dry in less than a half hour! I am very happy with this dryer.

I had low expectations for this dryer honestly. We were replacing a high end 10yo model and thought I'd have to spend $1000 for the same performance. This dryer was 1/3 the price and performs amazingly. It dries a load of towels in about 35 min. The steam function is a lifesaver. I toss in a wrinkled top with a dryer sheet and 15 min later is looks like it just came from the dry cleaners. Basic design but stellar performance.

I have had my Maytag dryer for 24 years so that says a lot about Maytag of yesterday! I picked this dryer to match the Maytag agitating washer that I have just purchased. I cannot believe how wonderful this dryer is. It dries everything so quickly, it is quiet and is a great choice for my family.

Best purchase on an appliance ever! Love my Maytag dryer! So quit and easy to use. The steam option was well worth the extra, have used several times, just to get wrinkles out. The sounds when the dryer is done is a great reminder to get the clothes, but them the extra fluff is also great when you forget. Highly recommend, just wish I had the Maytag washer also instead of the Whirlpool.

I purchased this Maytag dryer when I purchased the matching Maytag washer. This dryer is efficient, quiet, and easy to operate, as is the washer. One consideration was that they had to fit into the laundry closet which they both did well. With most of the machines on the market being front loaders (and being larger) I was happy to have found these and I'm happy with my purchase.

It's just the right size for us, easy to program and operates silently. Love it!

I was replacing my almost 30 yr old Maytag dryer. I was a bit skeptical. This dryer has proved to be great! It is huge and has a light inside!!! It collects the lint effectively. It has lots of options on the cycle. I especially like the steam feature and also the damp dry signal. I often have loads with mixed fabrics (cotton T's with poly sports shirts). In the past I had to check to pull the sports shirts so they wouldn't "fry", since the cotton always took longer. Now I get a signal tone and can pull those quicker drying items first. Or that almost dry no-iron dress shirt. I haven't had to deal with that awful static cling! It's quiet and dries much faster than the old unit. Very pleased!!

My new Maytag dryer has been great so far. It dries my clothes quickly and I love the little chime at the end that lets me know it's done. I haven't tried out the steam option yet but from reading other online reviews, people say it works wonderfully at getting wrinkles out. I'm happy with my purchase.

I got this dryer to replace a brand new LG Dryer that I had bought. I bought the LG Dryer on the salesmen's recommendation. The dryer was fantastic until it stopped working 6 months after I had it. The story to the LG is long so I'm going to make it short LG SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. So HORRIBLE Best Buy had to step in and give me a brand new dryer and said they would replace the washer as well. This time I went with Maytag. It doesn't have as many options as the LG and is quite a bit louder. However it works like a dream and of it breaks it will be much easier to get SERVICE being that Maytag is an American product. I highly recommend this dryer. Like I said only short coming is that the dryer is a bit loud.

This dryer is awesome! I've always loved Maytag appliances, and still do after using this. I love all of the settings that this dryer has, and how easy it is to use. Also love the capacity.

I’ve had this dryer for 6 months. It works well but on 2 occasions it has stopped drying mid cycle before the clothes were dry. The sensor misreads when the dryer gets hot and thinks the clothes are dry I guess, but this has only happened twice when I was drying some beddings.

Quiet (at least compared to what we had before), controls are easy enough to manage. It included a quick start guide to get you going too! Delivery went off without a hitch. Though I caution against getting the professional install from Best Buy simply because their dryer vent connector that you have to buy is flimsy and easily bends or contorts. I ended up using my own dryer vent.

Great looking dryer with nice features...digital timer, load sensing, and check lint screen reminder. Also has various settings such as bedding, sanitize, steam refresh. This is the first dryer with steam feature that I have purchased. I've found it to be a great feature that saves the hassle of ironing a large load or a favorite item before work, church, or a night out.

It has a huge load capacity! Lots of setting options! Drys great, even bedding dried the first time!
