a year and a half after buying I went to a friend's house and held his controller... literally unplayable after getting used to something like this. wish I could change skins on it easily, or that it had RGB, but that's just me

Premium Feel and Precision in a Stunning Blue Fini

I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller in blue, and it’s easily one of the best controllers I’ve ever used. Build Quality: The build is premium all around. The controller feels solid and has a nice weight to it, giving a sense of durability and precision. The textured grip is comfortable for long sessions, and the buttons, triggers, and joysticks are incredibly responsive. It’s clear that this controller is designed with gamers in mind. Customization: While this is the “Core” version, meaning it comes with fewer accessories compared to the full Elite package, you still get the elite performance. The ability to adjust trigger sensitivity and fine-tune the thumbstick tension makes a noticeable difference, especially in competitive games. For those who want extra paddles or swappable parts, they can be purchased separately, but the base controller alone still performs exceptionally well. Performance: The controller shines in responsiveness. Inputs feel faster and smoother compared to standard controllers, which is great for FPS, racing games, or any title where precision matters. I also appreciate the longer battery life—I’ve been able to go multiple gaming sessions without recharging. Design: The blue color is absolutely stunning and looks even better in person. It has a clean, vibrant finish that stands out without being flashy. It’s a great addition to any Xbox setup or for use with a Windows PC. Final Thoughts: If you’re a serious gamer looking for improved performance, comfort, and durability, the Elite Series 2 Core is worth it. Even without the extra accessories, this controller delivers on all fronts and feels like a huge upgrade over the standard Xbox controller. Highly recommended for gamers who want a competitive edge and a touch of style.

I’ve had this controller for a little over a year now and it is the best I’ve owned. Most controllers overtime will develop stick drift, this one has lasted and has a nice feel and function.

I’ve tried a dozen different Xbox controllers and this is one of my favorite. They discontinued the last controller that I fell in love with, and this has filled the void. Easy to acquire and works fantastic.

If you buy this make sure you get the warranty for it. At best it’ll last you a year . I never dropped it or banged it and they all eventually break but it is the best controller when its working. What ever model you get they’re all the same but the white one is the cheapest and the warranty for some reson is almost half as the elite or color choices . Best way to buy is get the white one with accessories from scuff with the warranty.

I like how customizable this controller is. All though it’s a lot cheaper than the regular elite controller and doesn’t come with paddles you can buy a set and still spend less money than buying the elite. Amazing controller I am not disappointed.

    Best Budget Xbox Pro Controller

I was really skeptical about purchasing an Xbox controller that retails for over twice the price of the standard one that comes with the one in the box, but I’m glad I did. Some reviews point out that stick drift is an issue with these, and luckily for me that issue hasn’t arisen for me yet (knock on wood). Once you get used to the feel of the Elite Series, you will fall in love. The texturized rubber handles help ensure you never lose your grip mid-session. Adjusting the resistance of the thumbsticks couldn’t be easier, same goes with the triggers. I love being able to choose the color of the Xbox logo that sits atop the controller, as simple as it may be. Three different presets lets you swap between different layouts and color combinations on the fly. My only gripe with this is of course the lack of hall-effect joysticks, and the D-pad. If you’re like me and are tough on your controllers by forcefully mashing buttons during intense situations, you may find that this controller is a deal breaker. The D-pad will come off way too easily. I debated purchasing the more expensive version of the Elite Series 2, but I’m glad I cheaped out. If I ever find that I do need the extra accessories, they’re just a $50 purchase away. Not to mention the nice colors you can choose from when it comes to the Core iteration. Give it a shot, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Works wonderfully, I have had it for 3 months, and no stick drift playing Rocket League daily. I'd be shocked if it didn't last another 9 months

    A Game-Changer for Serious Gamers

The Xbox Elite Controller is hands down the best controller I’ve ever used. From the moment you pick it up, the build quality stands out—solid, premium, and made to last. The customizable paddles, adjustable tension thumbsticks, and trigger locks give you a real competitive edge, especially in fast-paced shooters or precision-heavy games. What really sets this controller apart is the level of personalization. With the Xbox Accessories app, you can remap buttons, tweak sensitivity curves, and save multiple profiles. Switching between them on the fly is super smooth and incredibly useful. Battery life is excellent, the rubberized grips feel perfect in your hands, and the included carrying case and accessories add great value. If you’re serious about your gaming or just want the best possible experience, the Elite Controller is worth every penny. Highly recommended.

I purchased an open box controller that is listed in excellent condition on the website, and also on the label which is on the box. Best Buy‘s website, it states, item sold in excellent condition. Include all accessories. Well the controller did not include all accessories. I opened the box and I was greeted with the controller, however, no USB cable. Now don’t get me wrong. I know this might be a little nitpick, but if you’re going to list something as including all accessories, please include all accessories. Trust me I have more than enough USB cables lying around the house, so this is no major concern of mine. My concern for this purchase starts with the label that is on the box. Yes the label states excellent condition. There are however, three labels in total on top of the next. The original label states the controller is in satisfactory condition. The second label the controller is in good condition. And of course the final label states excellent condition. Well my issue is this if you’re going to change out the label take off the old one. Because now you’re gonna have a bunch of Customer scratching her head as to what were you guys actually hiding. The price difference between the three different condition levels is very negligible, I think maybe four dollars at the time of writing this review. I will say this the controller is in very good to excellent condition. Yes I saved roughly 70 bucks by buying it open box, and for that, this purchase receives four out of five stars.

So glad I caught the sale on this! I can't believe how much you can customize your button layout with this controller! You can set a "shift" button that allows you double-up the function of other buttons. You can also set buttons to perform an action, such as taking a picture, etc. There are many. You can set up three different profiles and also set the color of your "Xbox" (Home) button in each, which I think is pretty cool. I obviously added a custom faceplate to mine, which is a great option for adding your own style to it. When doing so, they give you a piece that transfers the light source out to the three profile lights and, something I picked up from a YouTube video, you can use a Sharpie and color the ends of the pieces to make them colored lights as well. [Don't know why my green marker looks more aqua/blue-green in the pic or so bright, it really made them darker, which I like, a lot, and they look green to me also. Pictures often change things slightly.] This is a pricey controller but, they all are. Going with this one, for a few more dollars you get so much more than the difference in price might suggest, to my thinking anyway. I couldn't be happier with my decision to make this purchase!

This remote feels great and was purchased on sale. Unfortunately, something got under the b button and it sticks. This is probably due to my son deinking soda near it. This is my favorite XBOX remote

Excellent controller and a great price!! My other elite controller somewhat disintegrated and this was the replacement. Awesome colorway and I still had my case and extras from the previous controller so this was perfect and I swapped some pieces with my black one!!

No real flaw to point out to be honest! Too many features to count! I could go into all the perks but I don’t want to write that long lol… I’ll mention my favorite feature which is the fact you can adjust the analog from being tight too loose amazing feature! The rest you can see just by clicking on the controller and viewing!
