We have a co-worker who prefers the ergonomic keyboards at work. He recently spilled coffee on his keyboard so I bought him a new one. I'm glad they still sell them because they seem to be getting harder to find. This was the last one in the store and had a nice layer of dust on it! Great keyboard, he really enjoys it. The last he had been using he had for 6 years before he spilled coffee on it :)

I upgraded from an older MS ergonomic keyboard and there are a few differences which are not necessarily bad: The keys are a lot softer in surface texture, resistance when pressed and noise. There is no scroll or back/forward buttons in the center gap. I never used them. There are bonus keys to do extra functions. I have not used them so far. There is a backspace key above the delete key, I keep hitting the wrong one. It is a fine replacement if you used MS natural keyboards in the past.

This little keyboard is so darn user-friendly. Had a Logitech go bad, and will not buy another because of the lousy warranty treatment. Bought this while waiting for the replacement for the bad one that might or might not ever show up. This is a far better keyboard, albeit a wired one. This keyboard works for typists, not just hunt-and-peck folks. Love the darn thing. And probably will be much easier to clean that the "upscale" Logi 860 that didn't last a year.

I got this keyboard because I'm working from home and my work tablet keyboard is too small, causing me to position my wrist awkwardly which was uncomfortable. With this keyboard my wrist is straight and relaxed, and together with the wrist rest, makes it very comfortable to type, as compared to a regular keyboard. It also doesn't hurt with the added shortcut keys to get the certain apps easier and faster. Of course it takes some time to adjust to this configuration, but to me it IS worth it in the long run.

I have owned a version of this keyboard for the last 12 years. I will NEVER NOT have an ergo keyboard. I sit at a computer roughly 10 hours a day programming and blogging. This is a default purchase for both work and home. Comfortable and keeps my hands at a good angle. Some people think these look and feel weird, but you get used to it and it feels so much better than a regular keyboard. One other great feature is that this keyboard is not a super-clickety-click keyboard, so you will not bother others while you are typing.

I can't go back to regular keyboard layouts now that I've adjusted. The next upgrade I'll make is to Microsoft's wireless Sculpt keyboard with detachable keypad to better suit my ergonomic needs however this is the perfect step for those who use Microsoft Office products as well as using Windows as their primary OS as it has plenty of extra functionality built into it including slots for your top three taskbar shortcuts, search, calculator, and snipping tools to name a few.

My wrists were starting to suffer when I began working more from home, so I looked into an ergonomic keyboard for PC. Didn’t see great things about the Ergonomic Surface Keyboard - mostly about connection issues - so this seemed like the best alternative. The wired connection solves that instantly. I wasn’t sure what to think about the Office and Emoji keys, but turns out you can download a Microsoft app to customize those keys, so I was all set after that. After a little practice, I love typing on this thing!

Time will only tell - I desperately needed a new ergonomic keyboard. The price was right, the consumer reviews were mixed at best. Would have ordered a Microsoft 4000 ergonomic keyboard but for some reason they stopped making it. It's a Christmas present so cannot attest to the quality of the keyboard. Best Buy came through again, good price, great shipping. I'm saying the quality is excellent but at this point I really do not know.

This keyboard is great; it isn't lit like my old Alienware one, yet I really like ergonomic and am happy with it. I've had it almost a year and it now has some wear spots on the keys and space bar (yet still works great: no sticky keys, etc...). The wrist pad can sometimes get grimy and dirty: I use rubbing alcohol pads (the ones sold for diabetics) and they clean up this keyboard perfectly. No regrets. Just put the "good" rating since the wear spots started showing up just after a month and a half of use.

A very good and comfortable keyboard, but is is not fully on par with the MS 4000 Ergonomic keyboard. This keyboard performs well, but transition to it will not be immediate and takes a bit of time to adapt to differnt key placement and alignment. Also, the contect key is on the left just to the left of the Windows key, with the old location having been taken over by the office and emoji keys.

Well I guess since it's really the only replacement I could find for my old Microsoft Split keyboard then it's good. For some reason I have issues with key placement, even coming from the previous gen split keyboard. It's nice, and still working after a year of use. The hotkeys are really nice for opening image programs, calculater, etc.. I never use the Smiley key though except for right now (Emoji's not allowed in review) lol.. I use it for Work, and Gaming. No issues.
