Customers love the ergonomic design, wrist rest, quiet keys, and reasonable price of the Ergonomic Full-size Wired Mechanical Keyboard. They find it comfortable to use and appreciate the tactile feel of the keys. While some users mention a learning curve and challenges with the split keyboard layout, the overall sentiment is positive.

This keyboard is great; it isn't lit like my old Alienware one, yet I really like ergonomic and am happy with it. I've had it almost a year and it now has some wear spots on the keys and space bar (yet still works great: no sticky keys, etc...). The wrist pad can sometimes get grimy and dirty: I use rubbing alcohol pads (the ones sold for diabetics) and they clean up this keyboard perfectly. No regrets. Just put the "good" rating since the wear spots started showing up just after a month and a half of use.

Well I guess since it's really the only replacement I could find for my old Microsoft Split keyboard then it's good.
For some reason I have issues with key placement, even coming from the previous gen split keyboard.
It's nice, and still working after a year of use.
The hotkeys are really nice for opening image programs, calculater, etc.. I never use the Smiley key though except for right now (Emoji's not allowed in review) lol..
I use it for Work, and Gaming. No issues.

This is a really weird but great keyboard. After using it for a few hours my hands felt a real relief. My old keyboard was great but this one really makes it easy for my hands to glide across the keys. Wish it had more elevation options, the bar that goes attached to the bottom of they keyboard was strange and not very useful. The keyboard definitely doesn't store easily compared to my last one. Good for large desks with plenty of room.

Bought to use at home during pandemic. It has now ruined me for all other keyboards. I think this is the most comfortable keyboard I have used ever. And I would rather carry this into the office everyday than use the awkward one my job supplies. Oh, downside? They are expensive and I don't want to cough up the dough for a second one to use in the office.

It is very nice and comfortable. The looks also very good. The only problem is that you will need a little bit time to adjust.

For someone who's only used standard keyboards, this will definitely will take time to get used to. My job requires me I type a lot so I purchased this because I notice my wrist began getting sore and tight when I typed for extended periods of time. This helped alleviate some of this, but it did take some time for me to get used to and I like the keys are smooth and quiet.

Had the original Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard with the PS2 connector and got this updated version with the programmable keys. Only thing I don't particularly care for is the padded palm rest on the keyboard and not sure how it will hold up in the long run. Otherwise, pretty happy with it but your hands will need some adjustment period to get used to typing with it. Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse driver/ software will help with the specialty functions for the keyboard.

This keyboard has really helped my repetitive strain injuries in my hands. It's really high quality, responsive. The keys are pretty quiet. I love that it's a corded keyboard because that cuts down on EMFs. I haven't tried the matching mouse yet, but I like the keyboard so much that I'm going to.
Warning, it takes some time to adapt to a split ergonomic keyboard if you're using one for the first time. But worth it.

First, I love Best Buy, If I were to just review the interaction with Best Buy it would almost always be 5 star. My review is of this keyboard. I have tried many ergonomic keyboards. Microsoft however has modified the design from what this keyboard used to be. So I am having a hard time getting used to the new keyboard design. The keys have a slightly different spacing than they previously had and as a software developer, IT MATTERS.

This keyboard replaced a much bigger, more expensive ergonomic board that I used for over 10 years, until the key letters were gone and my cat killed it with a glass of water. That one was not on the shelf in my moment of need, so I took a chance on this much more basic model. After weeks of constant use, all is well. I just plugged it in to my laptop and got back to work.
