Customers love the ergonomic design, wrist rest, quiet keys, and reasonable price of the Ergonomic Full-size Wired Mechanical Keyboard. They find it comfortable to use and appreciate the tactile feel of the keys. While some users mention a learning curve and challenges with the split keyboard layout, the overall sentiment is positive.

I really like this ergonomic keyboard. I don't have any wrist pain anymore. The wrist rest is soft and comfortable and the keys type really quiet too. I highly recommend if you want a good, solid ergonomic keyboard.

Microsoft is the name in the ergonomic keyboard market. And if you pound a keyboard all day? This is the only way to fly. I've gone through many of these over the years. I think I'll stick with Microsoft's product. If I have to use a non-ergonomic keyboard, my wrists are in agony.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, who desperately needed a new ergonomic keyboard. He loves this product and it's very easy to use. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to a friend.

This is my fourth ergonomic keyboard and this was is probably my favorite. The configuration was great for me and my hands were never uncomfortable using it. I work from home so I use it everyday and it hasn't let me down once.

I bought this because I had a significant wrist injury and wanted to alleviate pressure on the lateral side of my wrist. This was perfect. It's the right height, plugged it into the USB and immediately in use. If you're considering this, just buy it already. The keys are also very quiet.

I love this keyboard. I finally had to let my old Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard go that I bought in 2016 (or so). This is a solid keyboard and my favorite brand, but keep a couple of things in mind:
*The keys sound louder than my other keyboard. If that is something that really bothers you, then this may not be the keyboard for you. I could care less, but I know some people do!
*The "bounce" in the keys is awesome. Very reactive. I like that a lot and find that it makes typing more enjoyable. Is that a thing? Is that possible?
*The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the wrist wrest. It is feels amazing and is very comfortable, but the material is difficult to clean. The old material was more of a faux leather, so easy to wipe. This is more of a micro foam that absorbs stuff. I have to be careful when I put lotion on my hands so that it doesn't get goo all over the wrist wrest and gunk it up.
Overall great purchase! I can't go back to "normal" keyboards now after using ergonomic for so long!

I used wireless keyboards in the past, but they only lasted a year, so I switched to a wired keyboard. This keyboard seems to be well constructed and works really well. The ergonomic design works as expected.

Ergonomic and quiet. the spread of the hands is comfortable especially with that angle and the pad as well. Having the numbers console is also very practical. Didn't give it the 5th star because they could have spread the keys a bit further from each other so people with thick fingers like myself do not hit two keys by mistake AND the "extra" features of the keyboard are inaccessible because the software required was incompatible with most Windows versions. I know, I tried three different ones and even our office tech guy couldn't find a version of Windows where this software works. Classic Microsoft cutting corners and the result is confirming their reputation for always falling short of quality.

Slight downgrade from what it replaces

I am hard on keyboards and buy a new one every year. I eat and drink at my desk and over time, things get gummed up, and I completely take responsibility for that. Up until this year, I would purchase the Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard, which seems to have been discontinued, and this is the closest thing to that. The main difference between the 2 is that the 4000 had front legs you could flip up and down to adjust the angle, and that feature has been removed in this keyboard. It's still comfortable to type on and is my favorite keyboard currently available for sale; however it's not quite as good as the product it replaces, and for that I deduct a star. Microsoft, please bring back the Natural 4000, please!

If you have carpal tunnel, this is the keyboard for you. Possibly even if you don't have carpal. Once you train your hands to stay still and relearn some of the shift keys for small tasks, it's easy to buzz along and type quickly and accurately.

This is my second MS Ergonomic Keyboard - the first just got worn out after years of great service. The layout is just as comfortable as my first, the keys are nice and "tight" and I can type quietly again!
This is a great buy, I'll keep purchasing these keyboards as long as I can type!

Love the key board! It has helped reduce my wrist pain. It took a couple days to get adjusted to it but after that I have had no issues. There is no lag time! I wish the keyboard had a back light but it is not a deal breaker. Great product and great price.

This KB works very well, and it really can help those with certain orthopedic issues of the hand. It won't help everyone, but in our case it has been a huge improvement.
Plug and play simplicity and reliable performance, as expected.

I used the previous Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard for years and was surprised to see they are no longer manufactured. So I purchased this Ergonomic keyboard as a replacement. This one works great and I have had very little difficulty adapting to it.

I have been using this kind of keyboard at work for years and now I have one for home. I used the one at work so much the letters have rubbed off the keys so I bought another one for work. I can’t even type efficiently with any other keyboard after using an ergonomic keyboard.

I am now having to work from home and typing is a big part of my job, and with me having carpal tunnel this key board is great. The wrist rest is slightly cushioned and it is able to be kept flat or it can be raised and the curve is just enough to keep my wrists comfortable.

The keys are quiet, have nice travel and feel. The keyboard seems well built. It does take up a larger area of desktop space compared to standard keyboards. The split nature of the keys will take some getting used too.

This is, by far, one of the best keyboards I’ve used.
Grabbing one when it was on sale was the best part.
The keys are almost as if positioned exactly where you need them. The wrist support is nice but I use it sparingly.
I wish there were a version without a number pad.
