My first ergonomic keyboard. I was having issues with wireless ones, so I bought this wired one. It is pretty quiet, just a bit bulky, and not conducive to the way I have my WFH set up. That being said, I am still sticking with it because after some time getting used to it, it begins to feel like just another keyboard. The wrist rest is really a plus. The size is the only con, so make sure you have enough space.

Bought this for my mom and she loves. She uses a similar one at work because of her wrist issues that she has and she was extremely happy when she started using this in her home office. The keys are not loud and are extremely soft to the touch, and the placement is extremely comfortable on the wrist.

I've been a touch-typer ever since I learned to type in 4th grade. Regular keyboards often made my wrists hurt, but I didn't realize I had another option. Then I found this affordable option and decided to try it out, since I knew I would be at home to do all my schoolwork for a while. Only downside is that now that I'm used to it I can never go back to a non-ergonomic keyboard!

    Struggling to adapt ---

I previously had a very similar Microsoft keyboard; the "Ergonomic 4000". I am having a hard time "adapting" to this replacement. "How can that be?" you ask. Well, I used the previous keyboard for so long, before it finally died, that this one is just different enough whereby I'm having difficulty hitting the keys. Not the "main" alphabet, but the "Backspace" and even the "Enter" key. There is an "extra" delete key right on top of the backspace key. If I'm not careful, I'll hit that, when I really want to hit backspace. On the "Ergonomic 4000" that location was the "F.Lock" key. Also, said backspace key is not as large as it was on the 4000 and the "Enter" key is smaller too. I'm sure I will adapt over time. However, in the transition period, it is aggravating. There is an optional "Palm Rest Lift", which I just found to be ridiculous, but that's just me. I DO like the feel of the alphabet keys, and they are comparatively quiet. Also, keys, such as "Caps Lock" and "Number Lock"d have their own, individual indicator lights. So, you know exactly which key is activated. I like that feature a lot. It is a nice keyboard for the money; it is just gonna take me a bit of time to adapt. Hey, Best Buy, you asked.

For the price, incredible keyboard. Very comfortable. Wrists and hands at perfect angle, no bends as with a rectangular linear key layout. A wireless option would make it better, but since this is intended for a desktop, having a wire is OK. Had an older model from early 2000s that wore out. Used others, even ergonomic ones since. This is the gold standard.
