This version seems to be holding up much better than the previous. It works great with Surface laptops, Surface Pro X, and Surface Pros. I do miss the USB-A port but easily solved with an adapter.

I'm a fan of the Surface Laptop and these docks for our organization - I've bought several. The docks are just bulletproof and work without fuss or muss. They are a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion

Does a lot in a small package. Microsoft genuine product. Does not do 2 screens 4K @ 60HZ. It advertises it does. But after 2 docks, I've learned it doesn't have the bandwidth. I had to downsample my second screen to 1440P to run at 60hz. There are more expensive options that can do. But this is good if you just need more screens and willing to run it as is.

Had been searching a few places for the Surface Dock 2, it had been out of stock, and then a few weeks waiting for delivery, then found one at Best Buy, even better it was an open box item, at a great price. Was very happy to save some money.

Simply excellent. The screen is brilliant, it is a fast machine. We don't challenge it but for normal home and business use it must be the best. Invest in a Surface 2 dock if you are going to use it at home or in the office.

This is perfect for my situation and Surface. One connector for everything. I run dual 4k monitors off this perfectly. I have one for home and one for work.

Works great. Saves a lot of time of having to connect and disconnect cables when going form home to office. Wife loves it.

Works as advertised. Second monitor screen option for Surface is cruicial with this item. Without you can not do the second monitor screen without running into heat issues.

It’s really silly that this machine doesn’t have Thunderbolt. I use a Surface for work and had to get a separate dock for it since it won’t work with thunderbolt - which is becoming nearly universal in 2022. Come on, Microsoft. But the 3 stars is for the the dock itself - which can be super finicky. It sometimes requires several connects/disconnects to get it to connect to both of my monitors. You’ll also need to get dongles if you have HDMI or DP since it only has USB-C ports for displays.

Bought this after acquiring a Surface Pro 7 to work from home. I wanted a multiple monitor setup and this fit the bill. It was a bit more expensive than I was expecting but so far I've been pretty happy with it.

Significantly improved my desk setup by adding full size keyboard and larger screen

It was buggy at first, but the firmware updates made it now flawless with my surface pro7.

These improved docking stations work better than the previous versions. My monitors connect faster, sleep when they are supposed to, and I don't have to reboot it every few days for it to work correctly.

I have it attached to my surface book 3 and it is a game-changer. The surface book does not come with a lot of ports so this dock is really helpful for my daily work.

This works fine. My old one broke when the power cord was pull out at an angle. Also does not update itself

Using with a Surface Book 2. Good build quality. Will charge Surface Book 2 while you use it. Would expect more features for the price, but what it does it does as well as can be expected.

I was using a brand that wasn’t made for my surface pro and it was causing my surface pro to overheat. Since being this one I haven’t had the issue and have been happy since purchasing it.
