Great item. Still learning. Lightweight. Many uses.

I purchased this so I could access work computers from home. I am an Apple person. This works as good as by Ipad for a tablet but is highly functional as a laptop for work duties that required Windows operating system. The boot up time is fast due to flash memory. My only complaint. It is not compatible with Disney Anywhere movie service.

Great machine for a good price. Beats the Surface Book in every single way, especially the hundreds of dollars for price. It's mind boggling. Some large criticisms, the touchpad is terrible, and it's easy to accidentally touch the keyboard while typing and end up erasing everything you've typed. This is incredibly, obscenely frustrating. While the touchpad isn't getting any smarter, the OS is, and is also filling with ads. Yes, non-opt-out, mandatory advertisements for Windows. Keyboard is small and hard to get used to. It makes a great tablet, but a terribly overpriced laptop that sadly sacrifices form for function, and barely delivers with form alone.

In the simplest of terms. I purchased the Pro 3 instead of another ultra light laptop. My intent was to go home and port over my existing data from current laptop and begin using right away as my primary business computer. I learned rather quickly that there were trade offs and to truly offer a A to A comparison with a full laptop, I needed to buy the Surface dock, an extra expense for an expensive product. BUT after having the Surface and the dock now for several weeks, I can honestly say it was a great purchase. The hardward is excellent, the price is extreme compared to alternatives, but in the end, I am very happy and highly recommend.

I wasn't a fan of the early Surface pro or even the 2. They seemed to be lacking performance. Surface Pro 3 changed my mind of Microsoft tablets completely. Fast, responsive, durable and overall a success.

I love this product... The surface is by far the highest utility tablet in existence. Great job, Microsoft! Looking forward to upgrading to the Surface pro 4! I would have purchased it yesterday, but Best Buy only has the entry-level version in stock. Tony

Love this product. I was an early adopter with the Surface Pro 1st gen. Substantial improvements have been made over previous design. Microsoft has done an excellent job listening to their customers.

The surface pro is great only note is to download PDF files the user must open webpage in internet explorer.

This tablet is by far the best. You can use all Windows software and still get almost any app out their. The product came the same day and was the cheepest price out their.

I bought one last year, but dropped and shattered it. Instead of repairing it, I found one on clearance (due to the release of Surface Pro 4), the choice was clear. I use it for spreadsheets, photo and video editing and design work. It runs everything effortlessly. More convenient than a laptop, more versatile than a tablet. Highly recommend. I suggest getting the Bluetooth keyboard and the docking station. With the latter, I run 3 monitors effortlessly.

The surface pro 3 gets extremely hot and those fans are annoying. My screen would flicker greenish blobs at times as well I had a bad device and I wasn't satisfied with the heating. The 4 doesn't get as hot and handles more. These kind of purchases are investments get the newer model as they are more current with newest technology

After some research and the eventual release of Windows 10, so far this has lived up to my expectations.

I've transitioned to this as my only computer. It runs all my software well.

Poor internet connectivity. Therefore, I returned this item. I bought a HP Spectre and am much happier.

My new Surface Pro 3 has and is doing what I wanted it to do. I am now connected to my PC and all my data. Everyone in business should have one!!

I was nervous about the key board size, but it is not a problem. I love the choice of removing the keyboard. So far, I love my Surface Pro 3!!
