Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the superb graphics and the overall quality of the console as significant strengths of the Xbox One 500GB Halo: The Master Chief Collection Bundle. Many also praise the bundle's price and ease of use. However, some customers express concerns regarding the limited storage space and find the user interface somewhat cumbersome. The relatively small memory capacity is another point of feedback from some users.

Great system, great graphics. Much more ease of play after you get started. Getting started however, might take a while depending on your internet connection. Some games are download only and I had to leave it to download overnight. Other than that the memory should run out if you own a lot of games, but if you're a medial player like myself, you'll have plenty of room. Great system!! And for the avid players, I recommend buying a memory upgrade to aid in how much you can upload. Overall 5 stars, the quality and speed is a total upgrade from the 360.

To be perfectly clear, the Master Chief Collection bundle does not come on a disk. Instead, when you purchase this console with the Master Chief Collection bundle, you will be given a code. You will go online, on your X-Box, and put in the code, and download it online. It does take a while and it's the only downfall of getting this bundle. However, once you get the collection downloaded, it's wonderful. It has all four Halo's, along with multiplayer mode, and lots of extras. The second one was revised to look better and they did a phenomenal job with it. Why they didn't do that with the third one I don't know, but still worth. No lags or hiccups or freezes or glitches of any kind with the game either. The console itself I love. I originally got it for Black Ops lll Zombies, Halo 5, and more importantly to me, Kingdom Hearts 3, but now that I've gotten more into it, it has also become my multimedia center as well. I mainly watch YouTube, Twitch, Netflix, and Hulu anyway on my iPad, so it was only natural to connect the apps through the X-Box One and watch them on my gaming monitor. I just have no complaints about the system itself. It's a great system, so is the PS4 I'm sure, but I opted for the X-Box One and decided to stay with it for the better multiplayer/online/multimedia experience. Doesn't let down in any way. And recently X-Box just announced they will be doing backwards compatibility on a lot of their 360 games. More are being released by the month but it will be fully featured and ready for mass use coming this Fall and I have to say, I am heavily excited.

Best gaming console I've ever owned

I've owned any number of consoles thru the years, even spending quite a bit of time building and upgrading desktops for gaming. But, the Xbox One is the best I've used. The setup is drop dead simple, it's fast, the controller, like all Xbox controllers, is comfortable. The graphics may not be as good as the PS4, but they're still fantastic. With EA Access, it's wonderful. The only complaints I have are the slow install (google it), and the size of the games. With a 500GB hard drive, I've installed about 6 games and already used nearly 50%. But, you can use an external hard drive, so all is not lost. If you're a gamer on the fence between PS4 and XB1, I'd go with the Xbox. Just play Forza Horizon 2, your jaw will drop from tye graphics

If you are looking for a great entertainment solution and like or love video games, Xbox One would be a great purchase. You can hook your cable or sat right into the console and play games as you watch TV. You have to pay to play games online and the console is actually 360GB. Yes you read that right, it's not 500GB like it claims. The operation system takes up roughly 140GB. You also install any games you buy right to the system which you also do with Playstation 4 so I guess that's the way things are going. Wii U is the only console of this gen that doesn't require an install and still has free online gaming so take those into account when making any console purchases. You will have to pay around $40-50 every year if you want to play games online with your Xbox One. The Halo games are all remastered and you can check out their original graphics up rezed with a click of a button. Very cool feature and getting 4 games with this console is a great deal. The controller is improved but strangely enough, it still requires AA batteries. This makes no sense as PS4 and Wii U have built in rechargeable batteries. Very baffling. Overall, this console has some great exclusives and would make a great purchase for video game lovers.

    Another Great Product From Microsoft

It may sound like I am a Microsoft Fanboy, but I'm not. I have always been super critical of electronics. It is a solid console. I am fond of the snap feature, I use it more for messaging and checking achievements. I don't at the moment have fast enough internet to stream Twitch, but from what I have seen from the Twitch interface it will be easy to use. I like that they have moved to an app based system, because it feels more like the tech we use everyday. It has plenty of power and the graphic look great. It is quiet all thing considering. It seems like a weird thing to complement, but I like that the cable connects are smaller that the 360. The down sides are as follows. The play and charge plug in is on the side. Not big deal, it keeps the front clean, but it looks weird. There is currently no Microsoft chat pad, and you need an adapter to use 3rd party headsets. Again not that big of a deal, but they are little things that I just find a little irritating. In no way would It, or is it going to, prevent me from recommending it to a friend, and if presented with the choice I would definitely buy it again. At the end of the day I think it is a great piece of hardware and I enjoy it even with the little quirks that it has. It is reasonably priced if you get it without the kinect, and I did (I just didn't need it). I imagine that I will get my money out of it.

Xbox One is a great system for gaming

I know I will eventually buy both systems but I decided to start with the Xbox One because at the moment I believe it has the best games. I love this system , easy access to whatever you are looking for ,tons of apps and the graphics and gameplay are great. The controller feels much more comfortable to me than the last generation and the games are great. It came with The Master Chief Collection and one controller and I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy this system first , it is better than I expected. Since purchasing this I have picked up Borderlands The Handsome Collection , Sunset Overdrive , Lego's Marvel Super Heroes and Ryse Son of Rome . I have played everyday since purchasing this system ,which is something I haven't done in ages. I would recommend getting the Xbox One to anyone looking for a next generation system it is reliable and nothing like the troubled 360

    Great But Not Perfect

The Xbox one has a lot of really great features. Instant twitch streaming, Windows 10 PC streaming, future adoption of backward compatibility, the halo franchise, a game DVR for recording clips on a whim, low noise, better cooling than the 360, etc. The cons being a slow clunky interface, lack of upgradeable hard drive (Sony actually made a removable door on the PS4 so you can easily upgrade storage), lack of compelling games that aren't already on PC, and the controller is a battery hog. I really enjoy my Xbox one, but there's a reason it barely sells half as many units as the PS4. When the PS3 was released and they announced it would be unaffordable due to early adoption of Blu-Ray, it killed their sales. Then Microsoft decided to make the same mistake by pricing themselves out with the Kinect bundle. Luckily they no longer force you to buy one, but the damage to their sales is already done. The limitations of the system feel like they were designed to be there on purpose, instead of being actual technical limitations. My hope is that they fix a lot of the software limitations with Windows 10, and hopefully they will allow people to upgrade to larger storage or even SSDs without having to buy another console.

I initially wanted a Xbox One but couldn't quite find a bundle or package that was to my liking. Assassins Creed doesn't quite appeal to me, and the COD Bundle was too expensive with camoflouge console. So when the MCC Xbox package was release I jumped on it. I'm a fan of the system itself. The graphics and speed. I'm not here to compare it to PS4. I especially like the TV stream through especially since it has a snap feature where you can do two things at once. The MCC game itself was fun. It did have a few glitches but updates appeared every few days resolving most of the ones I experienced. Best Buy also had a sale where you could get a 2nd controller for $10. Great Purchase.

I was and still am, until they fully utilize the backwards compatability function, a die hard 360 fanboy. Even when they red ringed me (2 times) and another completely ceased functioning I got another one because there wasn't a better experience out there. When the Xbox one dropped I completely ignored it thinking it couldn't be a big enough improvement over the 360 to warrant the money. Totally wrong. The gameplay is silky smooth and the visuals are absurdly good. To be honest though gaming isn't the best part. I have my cable going through it so I can seemlessly switch from tv to the dashboard. Has all of the online sites that I know of (Netflix, HBOgo, etc) that stream tv and movies available to you. Has an app that turns your phone in to a remote and or tv guide. It's incredible.

This was an awesome bundle! I ordered this online and chose the "pick up at store" option. I was amazed! Within 20 minutes I received an email stating my purchase was ready for pickup. I drove to my local store where I was immediately directed to the "in store" pickup location. I showed the associate my home printed receipt and "ta-da", like magic everything I ordered was there waiting for me! No hassles! The console itself is amazing. Graphics are incredible. Controller feels great in my hands. Easy setup. Thank you Best Buy and Microsoft.

All the negative reviews on the Xbox One most likely come from non Xbox One owners. But ignore those reviews. The Xbox One has transformed from what it was released as. It is so simple even my 6 year old can navigate, and play on it. Games look fantastic, its exclusives are worth buying and the media/tv integration make the system complete. This is my 2nd Xbox One, and i would happily recommend this system to everyone i know
