Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the M190 Mini Pro Projector's compact size and portability as significant advantages, making it ideal for those on the go. While picture quality is deemed acceptable in dark environments, brightness limitations and the somewhat challenging focus mechanism are frequently cited drawbacks. The convenient HDMI and USB-C inputs are also appreciated.

This mini projector is great for the travaler or anyone that wants a small projector to use anywhere.I just got it and am testing now and for the price this thing impresses.I am using it with a roku and it works great.the speaker is perfectly fine for personal use.I am also charging it with an anker power bank via usb-c and it truly is a take anywhere use anywhere setup.I am actually using it on ECO mode and the picture is very watchable in the dark.I also notice this stays cool during use and case does not even seem warm...been on for an hour now in my test.I havent tried my phone via USB-C so cannot comment on that as I planned to use a roku and my phones data connection if I was camping or somewhere without wifi...all in all a great mini projector and as long as you understand what it is and its use you wont be disappointed.

    Ultra Portable Projector

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Miroir M190 is marketed as an ultra portable projector, small enough to fit in your pocket but powerful enough to project as large as 80”. I see it as a pocket television on-the-go, just as long as your destination has nice, white walls in a dark room to project on. The M190 accepts HDMI and USB-C as input, and even doubles as a USB-A 5V power source for your streaming devices. It can be charged with the provided AC adapter and charges to full in about 3-4 hours. Runtimes vary, but I was able to squeeze out about 1.75-2 hours per run. It does come equipped with a built-in 3-watt speaker for sound as well as a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones and the like. To turn it on, it has a slide button that doubles as a lens protector; open the lens and the unit turns on, close and it turns off. It has a manual focus dial for sharpening the 480p projection. Lastly, it has a very, very sturdy built-in metal kickstand to tilt the projection up, which will auto vertical keystone based on the angle of the projector. So here are some use-case gotchas if you plan on purchasing the M190: It has to be square to the wall it is projecting to if you want a rectangle image. It will not adjust for horizontal keystone, so you’ll get a sideways trapezoid effect. This is not the case for vertical keystone as it will try to correct itself. It will only correct itself to a ceiling if it’s perfectly perpendicular (stand is at full tilt). The keystone correction assumes you’re still projected to a wall with anything less than 90 degrees of tilt. Here’s a nicety: You can keep the M190 plugged into power. This will also help greatly if you intend to use its USB-A 5V power source to power your streaming device. I think that for its purpose as a pocket projector, it gets the job done pretty well. It’s bright enough to project to any white wall and the image is quite alright for 480p. Since it is 480p, the screen door effect will become more apparent when increasing the projection size. I felt that 35”-50” projection is a perfect balance of clarity and size. The colors are a bit washed out, but it’s not unbearable. Reminds me of a TN panel for gaming. There are other “portable” projectors out there with higher resolutions and higher nits, but are they truly as portable as the M190? I can carry this little along with my Note 20 and watch movies in my hotel room when I’m traveling or even simply cast to the ceiling if I'm laying on the couch at home. Why not?

    A Decent Mini Projector

A Decent Mini Projector Miroir’s M190 Mini Pro Projector is a portable and easy-to-use mini projector. This projector offers up to an 80” image and about 2 hours of battery life. The projector also works as a battery bank for your phone which I thought was a wonderful feature. After a couple of days using the projector, here are my complete thoughts. *TLDR at the bottom =============================================================== IN THE BOX/SET-UP: In the box, you get the projector, HDMI cable, AC adapter charger, and multiple plug adapters for the charger. I do want to add that the instructions were fairly vague. It doesn’t require much to set up, but instructions could’ve been a bit more explanatory. I tested the projector out using my Samsung Galaxy phone and laptop. The projector does have a USB-C port, so you’ll be able to project your phone’s screen using this projector. Although, a USB-C to USB-C cable is required. Screen mirroring through your phone is as simple as plugging your phone into the USB-C port on the projector. Projecting an image through your laptop can also easily be done by using the provided HDMI cable. There is no UI or physical buttons you need to mess with to start projecting an image. This mini projector is all plug-and-play! =============================================================== DESIGN/BATTERY LIFE: The projector is tiny enough to fit into a small bag or even your pants pocket. It also is lightweight coming in at just 1lb. The top does have a glossy finish which is a major fingerprint magnet. A personal preference, but a matte finish could’ve been a better choice to avoid all the fingerprints that the projector will be subjected to. The projector does have multiple ports on one side. A charging port, HDMI port, USB-C, USB-A, and an audio port. There is also a reset hole on this side if the projector ever freezes up. To adjust the height of the image, Miroir added an adjustable stand at the bottom. There is also a focus wheel next to the lens to better focus the image onto the surface you are projecting onto. To power on/off the projector, there is a switch that reveals the lens on the bottom. I do like how the switch acts both as an on/off switch and lens cover to protect it. Kudos to Miroir for this design! The only “buttons” on the projector are the capacitive buttons under the Miroir logo. These adjust volume and the letter M is used to switch between normal and ECO mode. There are also battery indicators in the upper left corner. From testing the battery out, I managed to get a bit less than the 2 hours indicated. Enough for a single movie or multiple short YouTube videos. Since this is a portable mini projector, I cannot complain too much about the battery life. But, if possible, I do recommend having the projector plugged into a power source. Overall, I give the design a 7/10. Ports would’ve worked better if they were in the back but that would also mean that there would need to be another way to adjust the height of the projector. A tripod maybe? =============================================================== IMAGE QUALITY/SOUND: The projector offers 200 lumens of brightness which Mirior states works best in a dark to semi-lit room. From testing this out, I would not agree with this. The image appears best in a completely dark room/area. Even a little bit of light will significantly reduce image visibility. Image quality is not HD since the resolution is only 480p. But using the projector in a dark room should help maximize the image quality. Image projection size is great as it can project up to an 80” screen. Overall, I’ll give image quality a 6/10. Not the best image quality, but for a mini projector, I do think it is acceptable. Sound is not the best with this projector. It will get by in a small room but in a bigger area, I do recommend having an external speaker since the projector’s sound is a bit muffled. I connected a Bluetooth speaker to my laptop and then completely lowered the volume on the projector. Sound is a 5/10. =============================================================== CONCLUSION/TLDR: If you are looking for a home theater projector, I would certainly steer away from the Mirior Mini Pro Projector. This projector does simply not offer the image quality and sound for a home theater vibe. But if you are looking for a projector to take on the go, I do recommend you try this one out. The mini projector offers up to an 80” image and a little less than 2 hours of battery life. The projector also works as a battery bank for your phone and can fit into your pocket. The projector works best in a dark room as even a modest amount of light will lower image visibility. I do believe the price is high for what you are getting but if the price isn’t one of the factors in looking for a projector, I do recommend you try this one out.

Compact mini projector with limited features

Miroir’s M190 Mini Pro is a very compact and portable mini projector that offers up to 80” image with two hours of battery life. In the box, it came with a projector, HDMI cable, AC adapter with multiple plugs for the charger. Setup is relatively easy. I have connected the projector with a power adapter and connected the HDMI cable to the laptop/projector. It is plug and play type and no special configuration or adjustments are needed. I have connected Galaxy S7+ tab with USB C to USB C cable to do screen mirroring and it worked without any issues. The projector is very compact in size and lightweight which can be carried easily in a backpack. It has various ports like Charging, HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, and audio ports on one side and it would have been better designed if the ports were on the backside of the projector. The height can be adjusted with the adjustable stand at the bottom and focus can be adjusted with the wheel next to the lens. The battery life is reasonably good to allow us to watch one movie without charging during a trip. This projector offers 200 lumens of brightness, and it is recommended for dark rooms. Due to limited brightness, it is not recommended to use during daytime or with bright light situations. The resolution is only 480p and image quality is reasonably good even though with low resolution. It can project up to 80”. The sound quality is not great as it offers only a 3-watt built-in speaker. However, I was to use my external speaker by connecting with a 3.5mm audio cable with the projector. This projector is not a replacement for professional projectors or TVs. It is easy to carry during trips to watch programs slightly bigger screen size during hotel stays or cabins. I would suggest getting the model with 1080p resolution and higher lumens of brightness as this model has only 480p resolution and 200 lumens.

Super compact, just not super. I really like the overall package offered in this super compact projector. It’s super attractive and none of the inputs, levers on the case, or adjustable knobs get in the way of keeping in a tight space like your pocket. Although I think it would be best to keep this in a case and in a bag. I’d hate to ruin the nice polished finish on this unit. There are more than enough inputs to take care of whatever you are going to connect to it. Using a laptop, a USB-C to HDMI adaptor and the provided HDMI cable I was able to get a picture that was effortless and had no hiccups. What wasn’t so obvious was how to turn it on. The instructions give a schematic, that’s also projected on startup from the unit itself, but it doesn’t quite show how to turn it on. You need to pull back the built-in lens cover for it to turn on. Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t find that intuitive. However, I understand the design choice. The auto screen adjustment function was a real nice surprise. It can detect what angle it is being tilted at and automatically adjusts the picture to appear flat against a surface that is parallel to the floor. It makes the setup super easy. I feel the picture I was able to get was respectable. It’s what you would expect for 854x480 resolution. The photo I have provided is actually pretty poor compared to what I was really seeing. And this was likely more along a 90" projection too wish is a bit outside what is recommended. Initially, I wanted to be able to say this should include Bluetooth. But when you consider what you are likely going to connect to it already has it, it just doesn’t make sense. I see this as a perfect way to show high contrast and to the point presentations on the go. Or something to show movies where seeing all the details isn’t required. Both scenarios are just right for this projector. And the portability of this is exactly what you’ll be looking for in those situations.

Miroir M190 Mini Pro Projector Just Okay

I was pleased to get this projector and give it a whirl as it's the first projector I have used. However, because of that reason, I found it quite irritating that the instructions were so bare bones I really couldn't make out what was what setting it up. I got the Digital AV adapter so then plugged it into my iPad and proceeded to play some You Tube videos. I had fully charged it overnight and it seems to hold a decent charge with 4 white lights across the top showing you how much battery is left. After using it for about an hour and a half the battery was nearly exhausted. It does come with an AC adapter so you can always just leave it plugged in and no worries with battery life in that case. There is a built-in tilt stand on the bottom for adjusting up to 90 degrees to fit your wall or ceiling with the picture but no screw in adapter to use a tripod, something I wish it had. Of course missing a remote is a big issue as well, unless you are using a Roku device or one with its own remote. There is a slide switch on the bottom that will turn on the projector lamp and that's also how you turn it off. There are different ports on one end...a USB C Charge/Video, a USB C, an HDMI port, a USB charging port where you can use as a battery backup for your mobile device and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is a manual turn wheel to adjust the picture quality (limited in my opinion) and it has auto keystone. This particular model has up to 200 L brightness and 480p native resolution and 1080p input. You can get an image up to about 80" which I did on my living room wall and the 3 watt speaker was adequate for listening although I feel an external set of earbuds or speaker would be much better. I took several photos of the videos I watched and they look pretty decent, although actually on my iPad were much crisper and deeper in color. The room was totally dark. This unit is small and compact, will fit easily in your purse but a bit large for someone's shirt pocket in my opinion. One other thing that I didn't like was that it has a piano black finish and oh my goodness! Fingerprint magnet! But I just wiped it clean after I was done using so good as new again. On the top you will see a + and - sign plus an M. There is NO mention at all of what these do in the enclosed instruction sheet but I discovered the + and - adjust the sound level and I found out the M changes the Mode from regular to Eco to conserve battery life. All in all I feel for the money there are better projectors to choose from with a few more features and definitely more instructions for usage, especially to a newbie using projectors. Other than that it did what it was supposed to and I cannot complain about the picture quality considering the small size and resolution on this model. I would recommend it for certain usages but not for the majority of folks wanting a movie projector.

I've always wanted one of these and this was my opportunity to get one. I have to admit, I'm not quite as pleased with it as I had hoped. It is super cute, and very very convenient, but the quality really isn't quite what I was hoping it would be. The good: My gosh this thing is cute and so portable. It weighs practically nothing and fits in a jacket pocket. It comes with an HDMI cable, but I'll need to get an HDMI adapter to use it with my phone. The attached stand works well. The usability is pretty intuitive. The volume can be adjusted directly on the little guy. It also came with a nice variety of electrical adapters so I can take this travelling pretty easily. The not so good: There isn't much in the way of adjustments you can make with the picture. Brightness is what it is and if there is any light around you the picture is going to look very washed out. Picture quality looks ok in a very dark room, but I won't be able to use this for any work meetings or much viewing during the day because there's just too much light around. The focus is persnickety and I can't tell if that's because I'm so used to HD screens, if there was too much light, of if I'm just too clumsy with the focus nob. The bad (if you're old and cranky like me): I really value printed instructions and miss them if they're not there in a complete form. It's really cute and generally convenient, but I don't know that I'd recommend it to a friend, especially if they needed something like this for work.

THIS FITS THE BILL. We have wanted a projector for a long while, and finding one that delivered everything we needed was beginning to feel cumbersome. Many were way too big, needed special this and special that, must have so much space away from wall or a whole in ceiling setup, and many came with a hefty price tag. Here came the Miroir M190. We never liked the idea of having tv's in bedrooms, especially our children's room. So we thought this would be perfect and it is. We are able to plug it in (if low battery), or just hook it up to any device (if internal battery is fully charged) and play. When the movie is over, we simply grab the projector and put it away until next time. No fuss, no bunch of cords. It is mini for sure, super compact, extremely portable, can hook up to different devices, especially our Apple TV. We upgraded our Apple TV, so we have an older one that was just sitting around. We were so thrilled to see that we can use it with the HDMI cord that's provided in box. It was as simple as plug and play. We couldn't be more excited, that our kids can now watch movies in their room for movie nights, while us parentals can enjoy our own movies in our space without worrying about content or noise levels. I will say that having to find or buy additional cords and adapters are a bit frustrating if you want to connect iPhones or iPads, as it has to be a video cable and not one of the regular cables that comes with the phones and tablets already. Which i'm sure we all have 1 million of. Another frustrating issue is having to get your computer, in my case, MacBook Pro to the right display to get the image to appear on the Miroir. Once that is solved, it's golden. The sound isn't too bad coming from this tiny device. We haven't tried to see if we can hook it to external speakers as yet, but that's something that the hubster would have to dive into. But man it can get pretty loud, and it doesn't seem to have much distortion, from what I can hear. This little thing is mighty powerful. The picture is pretty darn clear as well. Especially for what it is, price point, and size. Wow, that's really all I can say. You can manually adjust the sharpness and clarity of the image by the turn of a button, and to turn it on is very simple. There's no external buttons, but you can tap on the top to adjust modes (still figuring that one out), and adjust volume levels. One of my fave features is that it can be angled at 90 degrees, WHAAAAAA! The kids get in their tent and hang out of it while looking onto the ceiling to watch movies or hang out in their bunkbeds and watch it on the wall across the room. It is such a cool device. We haven't had the opportunity to take it out for play dates as yet. Maybe next year (you know the "Panini" aka Rona). but i'm sure it'll be a hit with all of their friends when their parents see how awesome this projector is. It can run very warm-hot to touch but that hasn't affected its operation. You can hear the fan working but its not distracting. All in all it is a wonderful little beast and if you've never heard of this brand before, I definitely recommend giving them and this M190 a shot. You will not be disappointed. I got my eyes on you Miroir. Kudos

Ultra-Portable Projector Great travel accessories for professionals on the go! I travel to client locations for business meetings and there is no better portable projector than Miroir M190 that's under $200. Pros • Light weight and ultraportable, comes with a 2 hr battery back-up and an AC adapter for extended use. Took about 2 hours to fully charge the battery out of the box • Plug and Play device, no software to download. • Integrated kickstand allows you to project on to any screen or your home celling! • Sharp image (Hi-Def) and no lag when playing movies and can project on a 80 inch screen without loss of fidelity. • Can connect to your phone and iPad (via USB C) or to a PC (via HDMI). Comes with an audio out jack to connect to external speakers. • Descent brightness (200 Lumens) for office use and to watch movies at night. Cons • Took me a bit to figure out on how to charge (via USB C) and power ON the device. Some instructions in the box would help. • Comes with a inbuilt 3-watt speaker which is not loud enough for playing movies. This is expected give the small footprint. • Wish it supported Wi-Fi connectivity to allow remote casting or via an app Highly recommend it for professionals on the go! This my new travel companion.

What I like the most about the Miroir M190 Mini Pro Projector is how portable it is without compromising on quality. It delivers a surprisingly sharp and bright image, making movie nights and presentations super convenient. The compact design means I can take it anywhere, and setup is quick with HDMI and USB connectivity. The built-in speakers are decent, but I prefer connecting external speakers for a better audio experience. It’s perfect for small spaces, travel, or casual entertainment. If you want a lightweight, high-quality mini projector, this one is definitely worth considering!

I especially like this projector because of a small size and lightweight. I have owned projectors in the past which have been three and four times the cost and have done about the same quality. Is a great little projector for sales meetings. You won’t be using this for home theater but for the price really fills that business niche.

Good but not great, needs a very dark room to be worthwhile for anything, but in a dark room it looks pretty good. It has a nice automatic keystone feature which is helpful for these portable projectors. In short, it works in a pinch, but not great in lit rooms.

I absolutely enjoy my projector. It has great clarity and color. The best thing is that it extends to 75+ inches with no distortion to the picture or quality. It doesn’t have a long battery life so I keep mine connected to the power cord. I really enjoy it in the summer days. My kids and I love to sit outside at night and watch it. I didn’t even buy a canvas screen. I used a large roll of regular white paper. Worked just as well lol
