Last one in the store, new in sealed box. Brought the unit home and plugged it in...it has a damaged screen. There is a jagged diagonal line going from the bottom left of the screen almost to the center of the screen. One third of the screen is completely black, even in the startup menu. Either it was damaged from the factory or during shipping to the store, as I was extremely careful with the unit once it was in my possession. Going to the store for return but no more of these are in stock in this district so they are going to put me in a "comparable model."

Dissapointed Greatly With VIZIO Support

First of all the Tablet that came with the tv was defective, it makes a high pitched squeal. The squeal is coming from the screen.
changing the brightness does nothing but change the pitch of the squeal. factory resets did nothing also.
I spent 68 minutes on the phone with Vizio, being bounced back and forth between reps.
They would only replace the tablet, if I sent mine first.
I just have a regular work phone, and no tablet.
my TV would be useless without the Vizio tablet.
I tried explaining this to the reps, but they would still not send their replacement first.
a few days later, I was left a message saying that my case was sent to another support team to work on the problem, they left a message that they were trying to resolve the issue along with a direct phone # to the support rep.
I called the # and spent another 20+ minutes on the phone, they said they would send there's first.. just as it was all being taken care of. I was put on hold again.. only to be told the decision was made that I had to send mine first..
they also said I could try to borrow someones smart tablet.. until my tablet was sent to them and I received the replacement.
Who is going to lend there tablet out for a month geeze...
I spent over $2,000 US on this TV only to be faced with a company that does not trust their customers enough to send a remote that is barely worth 50 bucks. I can buy a new 8" Samsung tablet for $99..
Second problem was, after 2 days of use. The TV had a Green Border covering half the screen.
I fixed that via a power cycle, several people on the net have reported this issue also.
Other then that the TV is good I like it, but it is going to be better for me to buy a replacement tablet for $99 then to have to pay shipping to send mine back and wait a month just to use the TV.
I will not buy any more Vizio products again..
Best buy offered to replace the TV and Remote..
but I already have it wall mounted, plus I had to travel to buy it..
so to pack it all up just for a remote replacement would be to much of a hassle...
I am sure the green border issue will be fixed via a firmware upgrade. It has only shown up once.

Was excited for this new Vizio 65" TV. Heard good reviews about the image quality and the tablet remote seemed next gen. Out of the box the TV image was distorted. Black fog in the middle of the tv and the left side had blurring and missing pixels. Tablet remote was very confusing to use. Highly disappointed in this TV. Returned it and went with a tried and true Sony instead.

Terrible TV and Horrible customer service

At first, the TV worked great. Then after 6 months, it starting shutting down and restarting. Sometimes it happens multiple times during a single football game, even causing us to miss key plays. We called Vizio 3 times, for troubleshooting and repair. This last time was the worst. I spoke to Edward to was so RUDE that I decided to write this review -- to tell everyone what awful customer service Vizio has, and that we are terribly disappointed with the TV.

The P65 is nothing short of a waste of time and money! I am truly sad that I had to part hever, experienced two, back to back displays, DOA , rite out of the box, with the same issue!
In my mind, this was a huge mistake to believe in the hype about this set! I have returned it for the second time and will not buy and will let my peers, friends, family, and customers, know that, VISIO IS TRULY A LOW END BRAND, and to not waste their time!

The P65-1c is the 2016 model (comes with a small tablet in lieu of a remote). Price $1699 is what Vizio is charging for the 2017 model (p65-1e}.
