Excellent vacuum. Very powerful. If the extension wand stayed on better and if there was a handle to easier lift the vacuum for stairs, I would have given it a 5 out of 5. One other thing to be aware of is that there isn't much reach between the wand and the flexible hose. All things considered though, for the price, the positives far outweigh the negatives. It's not perfect but it is darn good. I am very pleased with my purchase. Oh, and I love the retractable cord!

Good to great suction. Lightweight. Easy to maneuver. On and off brush roll control. Foot On and off power control is a bit temperamental in that as you apply foot pressure to turn on or off...it flips between on and off several times...you have to be quick or before you remove your foot it could either on or off. The filter is washable and dries easily in an hour or put in dryer and dries In few minutes. The motor filter should be replaced every few months and that can be costly. Not bad machine for the price.

I am thoroughly impressed! I can't believe how well this works! I am also embarrassed by how much dust was picked up after just one time of vacuuming. I thought my carpet was clean...boy, was I mistaken! It is lightweight and has great suction. The price was great, too!

Bought this because of the price and that it doesn't use bags. Have a dog at home and couldn't believe the dog hair and dirt the vacuum picked up. Very happy with it.

If you get it on sale it's a good deal. Little heavy but easy to push around. Easy to empty and clean. Not made for heavy duty use, plastic can break if used rough.

After reading this review I nearly bought another Hoover:"Vacuum is way too heavy and bulky for normal use. I am a man in my late 20s and workout on a daily basis". Now that I used it I have no idea how someone could call this vacuum heavy. This guy must workout daily at the Dyson employee gym. I used this 1 day after my old vacuum died at the end of a cleaning and filled the new container 3 times. I rarely give 5* but this vacuum earned it. This has great suction and as dad and dog owner that doesn't workout every day I would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean carpet.

This vacuum does everything it is supposed to - it has excellent suction and is easy to use. My only criticism, which others have found, is that using the hose can pull the vacuum over - placing the vacuum perpendicular to the hose direction avoids this in most circumstances, however.

The motor in my old Sharp upright finally blew up. I always thought my Sharp was a beast and could suck up anything. However I couldn't be happier with this vacuum, especially since it was only $99. Everything works right. It sucks like crazy, in fact it's pulling things out of the carpet my old Sharp missed. It's plenty of vacuum for my 1800sq/ft townhouse. My only concern is I wish the extension tube was held in more snug. It's fallen off a couple times. HIGHLY recommended.

FOR THE MONEY ITS GREAT DECENT POWER CORD REWIND WORKS GREAT EASY VERY EASY TO CLEAN. ITS FLAWS ARE AS FOLLOWS, CORD REWIND IS HUGE AND IN THE WAY, FLEXABLE HOSE IS WAY TO SHORT, VERY LOUD LIKE ALL EUREKEAS ARE. THATS ABOUT IT IF YOU CAN DEAL WITH THAT YOUR GUNNA LOVE THIS!!!

This vacuum is pretty good once you get one that works - the build quality is just not there, When I returned the first one, I should have known better and gone with another brand. One year later, the motor sounds like an air siren. I called customer service, spoke with Dominique, who was nice initially, and found out that the motor is warrantied for 5 years...so, I take it to a service center (across town) Long story short, they told me that there was dirt in the motor and that the vacuum is not worth repairing, and (of course) no, they will not replace it. Dirt in the motor - hmmmm, well, it is a vacuum. If this thing breaks; throw it away. Can not recommend Eureka as a company nor their products.

Nice bagless vacuum. Attachment for stairs could be improved.

It's a little on the heavy side and annoying at how often you have to empty the canister when you have pets that shed. Otherwise it does seem to work well.

This is my second one, first one only lasted 2 days, second one lasted one year. Vacuum does clean well. If you are going to buy this vacuum purchase the extended warranty.

The vacuum worked great for the first 6 months I owned it. Then the belt went. I returned it today and bought a Hoover. Hopefully it will last longer than 6 months. I know neither are the most expensive vacuums but I would expect them to outlast the manufacturer's warranty. Eureka did not.

good for what you need it for. took a star cuz the extender jawn keeps falling off of it when u vacuum. took another star cuz that shiz is kinda heavy and i work out son.

Bought this vacuum in July. Was excited that after one use it did a better job sucking up dirt than any bagged vacuum I'd ever owned. Then after only three months, and not a lot of use during those 3 months, the floors part of the vacuum stopped sucking and started just blowing out air. The tools section still worked. I tried cleaning it all out to make sure nothing was clogged, but it just wouldn't suck up anything. Luckily I had bought the 4 year protection plan from Best Buy because I ended up bringing it back and getting a refund.

Cord constantly gets in the way Tools fall off the vacuum Only regret is not returning it when i had a chance

I researched vacuums. I knew what I wanted. This was what I wanted. It had everything. I bought it, brought it home, set it up and used it. That is when things went bad. The plug would not stay in the socket (I had not even gone a foot, and plug was coming out.) The tools that come with it, don't stay on. The "stair and upholstery turbo nozzle" comes off with the slightest bump of the vacuum (running over the cord, tapping the wall.) But on the plus side, it is a very powerful vacuum, and gets the job done. I will be returning this vacuum, and finding another one.
