I followed the directions and had no issues with these connectors not holding my wire. I even tugged on it a few times to test one of the connectors due to reviews. I think as long as you are using decent wire and follow the directions you won't have any issues. I will add that these were very simple to use. My old banana plugs from audio quest are now tarnished like the gold was fake and it's silver so 4 stars until I see if these hold up over the next year.

Needed a couple more wires for my surround speakers and these clips work well to connect to my equipment.

No sound degradation that I can tell and these have always been my first choice for banana connectors.

The banana connectors are the best way I know to get 12ga wire from receiver to speaker, This is the cleanest and also the quickest and best connection, went from 16ga to 12ga you can hear the difference in out put from your receiver and these clips make for the best connection

I previously purchased a much more expensive banana connector for my McIntosh and was very dissatisfied with the connector. I happen to find the Monster Banana Connector in my local store and I can say that I'm truly satisfied with this product. Give them a try.

Had a hard time finding some quality banana plug connectors. Finally found these at Best Buy. Was easy to replace old worn-out connectors with these. Seems to be high quality and have a nice sturdy connection to my new Sony AV receiver.

I had read online that banana plugs were preferred for connecting outdoor speakers. And the Best Buy in-store rep said that these were worth the extra $. But the Geek Squad guys said that using the plugs outdoors were just one more thing to potentially corrode in the elements. So the Geek Squad just hard-wired four speakers (two sets of two in different locations outdoors) w/o the banana plugs. I returned the plugs and was refunded their cost no problem.

These plugs were very easy to install and fit relatively good in tight space

They hold the wire tight & fit snug. Can't ask for more. It will fit in tight places too.

These were a little pricey causing me to hesitate. Glad I spent the extra dough though. These are way better than the rocketfish ones. These hold tight and go together very well and easy.If you are gonna spend the money to do bannana plugs get these.

These work great! They hold the wire in place and make for a very easy setup!

Nice looking plugs. Very solid quality. Dont get the cheap ones if you want to be satisfied with the look. I dont think it helps the sound but it sure is nice when its time to connect the speaker wires to the reciever/amp.

These are very easy to use, well made but are overpriced.

I use these to hook up all my speaker wire to the receiver and speakers. Very easy to use with monster wire. Is the sound better? who can really tell, but it makes it much easier to hook up wires and make any changes if necessary.

First class gold plated connectors that are easy to install and provide a solid electrical connection. My first choice for speaker to receiver wire connectors. I have tried others with set screws and they are not as reliable.

These plugs were easy to install and the quality was good.

For small to medium gauge wire these are excellent. I like these much better than Monster plugs. These will work with larger wires also.
