Hi ktizo,
Thanks for your review! Indeed the phone is very easy to use as the device is a stock android phone. The best phone for the best Android experience.

I Have had 3 Motorola phones before and this was bad out of the box. After I installed the sim and rebooted it says no command with a dead droid icon, it might reboot if it wants to which may take over an hour. I am returning this 1 day old phone and going back to the Moto X pure edition I still have .

Hi supertec1,
That's rare. You just need to press and hold the power button to reboot the device. If everything has been tried and still didn't work, that's the time we suggest sending the device for repair or return it to where it was purchased.

I bought this unlocked phone because I didn't want to get the so called "free" phones that you're stuck with a plan or have to buy an additional line with. I already had an older phone that wasn't working very well anymore and wasn't powerful enough to run my newly purchased fitness device. Plus, I just wanted to upgrade with my same phone plan at no cost. With this I kept my same plan at same cost, no change or additions to the plan necessary. Also buying a phone from a phone carrier at full price will cost twice as much and the Best Buy protection plan is much lower. The phone has very nice functionality (love the fingerprint feature to open) and plenty of RAM to run my advanced fitness watch device. Also has plenty of space for all the apps I use. I've had it a week and have not had any troubles with connecting to WiFi (home or away) or towers. My carrier was great about setting it up (transferring data and chips) in their store at no cost and also showed me some tricks to save money (T-Mobile has been awesome by the way).

I have avoided large cell phone bills for many years now by using unlocked phones, all started with a BLU phone many years ago.
I switched to this Motorola as I like the brand, also,of course,it is unique in as much as it will work with GSM and CDMA carriers, ergo, any service offered in the good old USA.HD screen is crisp and clear as you would expect, battery between charging is second to none, all apps work fast and flawlessly and took less than 20 minutes to set up out of the box.No contacting my carrier to register, just put the SIM card in and I was all set.Downloaded apps I wanted, vertually no bloatware to speak of and what I didn’t need I either deleted or uninstalled. For me, this is a great phone and cases are very easily obtainable especially on line for little money.I got an otter box like case with built in screen protector with holster for less than $12.
Perfect phone for my needs.

I needed a phone that gave great phone service, easy to get online with, and terrific camera for both indoor and outdoor photos. Nice editing ability as well. Had a Samsung 7 Edge before and it broke. This is a great replacement phone. Will never spend $700 or more on a phone again! This is perfect for me!

I am so glad Best Buy had this unlock Moto E4 Plus cell phone to be just what I needed. So far it offers all the bells and whistles I need in a phone. It's compatible with my provider, has a great camera, lots of memory and works perfectly. I didn't want a phone that was going to cost me a monthly fee for two years,or one I had to mortgage my house to pay for. I purchased it and can use it with another carrier if I chose to, but was able to keep my current carrier. All my data, contacts, photos etc was downloaded to my new phone at the time of purchase. I am one happy cell phone owner and user thanks to Best Buy! All without the hassle of a contract.

The Moto E4 Plus has the best battery life I've ever encountered. I also have an Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom and I was worried that the 400 series processor would lag like my old Nexus 5X, but the Moto does just fine. It might actually be smoother than the Asus due to the simple user interface. The camera isn't great compared to others, but with a price tag under $200, we can't have it all. I don't use my phone's camera much, so I don't complain. I never have to worry about battery drain, that peace of mind is worth more than any other aspect of any phone.

It's been a little over a week since I've had my Moto E4 Plus, and the results are spectacular. I was coming from a Moto X Pure Edition more than 2 years old with the battery was on its last leg, draining 20% for 10 minutes of playing Pokemon Go (or any other game, really), and dying at 30%. To say that I've had anxiety with battery life on cell phones is really understating it. Having my phone off the charger while at work felt like a curse.
The Moto E4 Plus resolves all of my battery anxieties, and more. As a $200 phone, you shouldn't expect high-end features such a super spectacular camera, amazingly fast GPU, or with super fancy modes or a high resolution screen, but you'll probably even find (as I did) that these features are not even necessary in crafting a superb phone, and that you aren't settling for less by not getting a new Samsung Galaxy.
I demand a lot out of my phone and use it very frequently, and I've found that the Moto E4 Plus has kept up every step of the way. It even handles games like Pokemon Go better than I thought it would. And that battery life, wow. All 5000mAh of glory. That's 66.6% more battery than a Galaxy S8. I hear some people complain about it being slower than other phones, and I can see there is decreased performance, but it just isn't enough to work against the phone. The performance is just fine.
I couldn't recommend this phone enough, and I can't rave enough about the battery. I've never had a smartphone that I didn't charge every day, and I've already gone two days without having to charge my phone. I'm surprised that this is considered a budget phone, because it sure doesn't feel like I'm using a budget phone.
This device is really something special, and I have no regrets about my purchase.

Wanted an android phone with a high-end camera and long battery life as former Galaxy Note 4 Edge battery lasting less than 10 hours. The Moto E4 Plus will run for a couple of days minimum with regular to heavy use and longer on standby.

Purchased this phone to temporarily replace my GS4 when the screen broke. Camera is very fast but photos not on par with flagship phones. Screen is bright and sharp. Has an excellent night screen mode. Fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. Overall it exceeded my expectations.

I finally decided to bite the bullet and pick up a smartphone. At 64 years of age I came to the realization that if I didn't become familiar with the technology now, I never would. This phone is extremely user friendly. So much so that my wife wanted one too. I thought I'd never pry her hands off of her Blackberry style phone with it's QWERTY keyboard. Now, she can't live without it.

I bought this phone to replace my wife's Droix Maxx 2 (which is only a year old), and she couldn't be happier. The Maxx 2 is sluggish....you can't move apps to SD....and it lacks so many convenience features that the Moto E4 Plus has. The E4 has a 5000mah battery, so she never has to grab her charger at like 4pm in the afternoon. The E4 battery easily lasts all day with moderate use. The E4 works smoothly, looks nice, and is a great bang for the buck. I personally have a 2 year old Galaxy Note 5, and even I was impressed with how nice it is. It is also compatible on the Verizon network. Very happy with purchase!

It's been many years since I've used a Motorola brand phone, so I was a little hesitant to buy this. However, I did my best to look at reviews and really grilled the store reps on specs and opinions. At the end of the day, this phone met my budget which is the main reason I bought it. It has not disappointed one bit!
The phone has a great processor which means non of my videos, apps, games, or media I'm general ever lag of freeze on me. That's always an important detail I look to in a phone I own.
The camera, though not necessarily the best when comparing it to other phones, like the latest iPhone or Samsung models, is surprisingly great for a phone this price. It's not grainy or fuzzy in any way, and it delivers really great images.
Call sound and voice are crisp and clean.
The functionality, with it's fingerprint sensor, is incredibly useful and smooth. You can do almost anything with the phone with just one hand thanks to this.
All in all this is a great phone and I would highly recommend it to anybody looking to buy a phone on a $300 budget. I don't regret it.
