Initially, I had had some scheduling problems, but once I understood how Best Buy defines Delivery versus Remove and Install or Install versus Setup. I was able to ask the right questions to coordinate the delivery, Installation and Setup of my new LG TV. Once the Delivery team placed the product in my house, the Geek Squad team. Called me and arrived at my home within 30 minutes. They removed my old TV and installed the new unit in under an hour. They also made sure my myriad of remotes were programmed and working with my system. Overall, I would rate the Geek Squad team as Excellent. Best Buy lost a star due to the initial scheduling mixup. Part of the mixup was caused by my assuming that Geek Squad handled all of the activities involved with getting my TV delivered, installed, setup and running.

As I already mentioned in the review for the TV wall mount, Best Buy has the best Geek Squad ever. Clinton did the installation of my 58 inch TV above the fireplace. Took Clinton's suggestion and took back the original wall mount that I had purchased. It was too heavy and had too many tilting features for the wall involved. Clinton had the tv mounted and working in no time. He was very professional even cleaning dust from the wall as he drilled, etc. Couldn't have asked for better service.

The agent mounted two in ceiling speakers and went over the universal remote. It took about 69 minutes. Speakers look and sound great. Now, I have a total of 4 in ceiling speakers, a front speaker, two standup speakers. My bonus room is full of awesome sound. The agent followed the suggested CDC guidelines for Covid and wire shoe covers. They were quick and left the room very clean. Great job!!!! Thank you!!

The geek squads communication on timing of appointment made the installment of my outdoor TV that much easier. Well trained, well informed of mounting our outdoor TV above our fireplace, was no easy task. But they were experts at it. They were diligent on where to place, and make the most of not only our TV viewing pleasure, but also the brick on the fireplace. Couldn’t be happier.

We were debating whether to mount the TV ourselves over the fireplace (55 inch is quite light) or use Geek Squad. We made the right choice! Cost a little extra because of the fireplace, but well worth every penny. TV looks great! The guys were precise with their measurements, and extremely careful with our TV. Highly recommend this service. 20 minutes and done :)

I had asked the agents to mount the TV (also bought from Best Buy) to the wall. They came when they were supposed to, performed the installation, but didn't take the old TV. They also put the mount up slightly crooked. We had to pay for someone to come out and take the old TV, but I'm learning to live with the crooked TV.

Excellent job - very clean & precise - tech was extremely knowledgeable & centered everything perfectly! Installed the soundbar & woofer as well. Arrived on time & called ahead. Now if I could just finish my paint job on the fireplace it will be perfect!

the agents were amazing. so friendly and even included me in the entire process instead of just mounting the tv and calling it a day, they asked my opinion and even provided suggestions. super thankful for the team! thank you guys a bunch!

I had a difficult location for mounting the television as I had a recessed fireplace. Geek Squad was able to figure out the best way to get it mounted and everything works great. Very happy with their service.

The 2 members were able to do exactly what we asked. Mount the TV over our fireplace as close as possible ti the sound bar to hide all of the wires.

I could not be any happier how the installation and setup of my TV and Soundbar turned out! The Geek Squad did a fantastic job, so happy how it turned out!! True professionals!

They came with in the time stated. Both men were polite and professional. Installed and set up the TV efficiently! They answered all my questions.

Team was polite and clean. Would have given 5 stars, team had to re-drill wall twice since they mis centered the original wall mount. But they fixed their error and final product looks great.

The team did an excellent job installing mount to fireplace. Fastend and secured properly with extra support , feel good knowing I need not worry of TV falling. A+ job

I think Best Buy is ripping people off. They upcharge $79 to install above fireplace. I can agree to this if it is brick all the way up. It is just drywall above my fireplace. No different than hanging on a wall without fireplace. So I think this upcharge is ridiculous. Was told it is because twi people are needed......guy hung it by himself. The other person with him, picked up stuff, wrapped wires, or handed him tools. ???

The Geek squad was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly installed my TV over my fireplace, they walked me through the features and how to use my new TV

The Geek Squad term was amazing. My TV was mounted above my fireplace. They did an amazing job hiding all of the wires and centering the TV.

The mount looks great even though the wires could not be installed in wall. The techs took time to explain what options I had. I am satisfied with the look
