Does what its supposed to with all the bells and whistles

Avoid this motherboard. Avoid MSI. Avoid BestBuy. this motherboard has faulty internet drivers/hardware if you ever want to host a dedicated server, your internet will completely crash requiring a restart and permanently damaging your motherboard making the crashes easier to trigger internet crashes. After paying for my own shipping, waiting WEEKS for my RMA. They still sent back a broken motherboard with physical damage now being done do it, there were several bent pins and scratches which luckily don't effect things but it's just a little cherry on top. Avoid Bestbuy because you're given a 15 day return policy while just about every other instore/online retailer provides twice or more than twice the time to return. Their support is either uninformed and thus spread misinformation about the channels you can take if the product you buy fails you. It just gives you false hope which makes things worse when you're having an issue.

Overall easy to install. Sleek look and drivers are easy to find

Ended up returning, computer would not post. Even after bios flash via usb.

Just got this board. Put everything together and nothing, no lights, no noise, nothing. Would not power up at all. Checked all connections, swapped ram slots, cleared cmos, etc. Couldn’t swap parts since first build. I would like to think that I did everything right as far as I can tell. Bad luck I guess.

Horrible product. Bought my pc piece by piece went to put it all together today and the motherboard was DOA. Did more research on it and it’s a very common problem with this specific model. Now I have to go to the store tomorrow and according to chat support “hope the manager will let me exchange it” because it’s been 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks which is there policy.

Got through setting up my pc, just for it not to turn on. We checked to make sure it wasn’t an issue with the power supply. Power supply fans spun/worked fine. Motherboard was effectively DOA.

I purchased this motherboard based on my needs and recommendations from across the web. The Z790 Tomahawk is, in my opinion, a very nice looking board. It is packed with quality features for its price range. 4 M.2 slots and 7 SATA connectors provide plenty of storage space. ARGB headers for whatever goodies you may throw at it. Built in WiFi is quite useful.

A solid motherboard that offers excellent performance and reliability. Its built-in WiFi module makes it easy to connect to the network, and rich expansion options and high sound quality are its strong points.

I bought this motherboard specifically for i7 14700k, I am very pleased with the performance, the motherboard works great, the vrm does not heat up too much, the best motherboard for a productive system.

So here is everything i liked in that model 1. Normal power system 2. SSD mounting without screws 3. All SSDs have heatsinks 4. I/O panel with various outputs including two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C 5. WiFi + Bluetooth card installed 6. Flash drive with drivers included I strongly recommend taking it, it’s better than what we have for this price right now!

Recently built a computer and went with the MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI. I like that it has built in support for water cooling like the dedicated water pump pin header. I also like the different pins for fans in different locations to get specific independent speeds for cooling my rig. I have two m.2 nvme ssds for storage and the plate with themal pads is a nice addition.

Plenty of m.2 slots. Good bang for the buck. Great capabilities of hardware on the motherboard wi-fi bluetooth.

Great Motherboard, took a while to install with the 3090 because of cover blocking it. But overall an amazing motherboard.

Very impressed with this motherboard. It I’d high quality, has a nice weight to it, and has really slick finishing touches. It is well laid out and made it easy to reach every connector. It fit perfectly in my mid tower atx case. Note that the top of the board has a lot on it so be mindful of clearance for other elements (like an AIO) at the top of your case. Booted up with no issues and the BIOS is probably the best I’ve used. Very happy with this board.

Great Z790 motherboard at a very reasonable price! Clear BIOS, support for multiple XMP profiles, subdued appearance and cool power section. Works perfectly with 13600k. There is nothing to complain about :)

A great Z790 series board at its price. It is equipped with everything necessary for comfortable use, but at the same time it is devoid of unnecessary things such as RGB. I recommend.

Ordered it to start my first build and can say that I'm quite satisfied with the result. The motherboard was an easy install and the manual that came with it was quite useful and easy to follow. The build went without a hitch and everything just works. Important note though, you may not have internet connection when you first boot things up, however MSI does provide a USB with drivers on it. I didn't know this and had installed drivers on my own USB, but as a newbie I overlooked the MSI provided USB thinking it was for aesthetic purposes.
