I bought this for two purposes. First, to give myself a second screen while traveling. It is compact and light, perfect for that purpose. Second, to use as a monitor at a small workstation with only a compact PC and a scanner. It will sit on top of the PC without blocking the vent holes, and the screen is large enough to see the scans. The monitor was easy to set up and use. It had a good picture, with no defective pixels. MSI is a respected manufacturer, and this is a good product. A few months ago, I made the mistake of ordering one of those cheap 18" monitors that are merely a laptop screen with a thumbwheel and some electronics. It was miserable, and I sent it back up the river, after which the manufacturer offered me a free one if I would withdraw my review and write a positive one. I declined. This MSI Portable Monitor is a keeper.

It can serve as a second monitor while I work, connect to my PC as a game information display while I play, and pair with my ITX build for gaming sessions at a friend’s place. Plus, the 15.6-inch size is just right—not too small. I absolutely love this product! A few years ago, I wouldn’t have imagined such a convenient solution for these use cases. The advantages of this product include its highly convenient stand, well-controlled weight, and a decent built-in speaker. I prefer carrying it along with an ITX build rather than a laptop when traveling for work. Considering its price and size, it’s almost the perfect choice.

I absolutely love this monitor! It’s incredibly convenient. Since I frequently travel both domestically and internationally, I always bring it along. It’s super lightweight, and with just my laptop and this monitor, I can work seamlessly whether I’m in a hotel, at the airport, or on a train. While the audio isn’t its strongest feature, I simply use my laptop’s sound instead. The display is what truly matters to me, and for the price, it’s an absolute steal. Highly recommended!

Great screen, qualitybis good for the price, easy to carey around. Audio could be better

This is a nice screen that has a good quality image. I love that it comes with a neoprene sleeve and it has a built in stand that rotates to allow you to position it vertically or horizontally. The only thing I do not like is that the audio is not great! It is very quiet and cheap sounding. Thankfully, the audio can be routed through my laptop speakers.

Bought this for my wife. She is an eighth grade science teacher. This is everything she needs to prep lessons. It’s light and easy to use and comes with a sleeve to protect it during travel.

soooo helpful during my business trip. it's light and no battery included so i can pack into my checked in luggage and use at hotel room very very helpful if i need to do any excel works I love it especially it's not heavy.~~ no additional power cord need either.
