I have had this machine for about 2 weeks and I’ll change if needed. I have two Pomskys and three children. The mess they make is astounding. I use to sweep daily and mop every 3-4 days. My main floor I use this on is 1200 sq ft with a mix of mats, rugs, area rugs and wood flooring. Set up was pretty easy. Mapping, you can remap as you change rooms for decor or rearrange You can separate rooms as long as there are not barriers. I have a staircase in the center and it recognizes as a barrier. I cannot split living from dining which is a little annoyance as I want each room cleaned at different times. However, it can spot clean on a perimeter or location I set. It gets under my bed edges well. I would like it to tell me when my tanks are full or empty prior to but that’s ok. You can monitor life on the replaceable parts etc which is also great. You can set up schedules, adjust which rooms to clean first. Suction levels for each room and mop wetness for each room to your liking. This little machine has saved me hours weekly of cleaning. I’m ocd and have to have my floors clean always. I rave about this to my friends and some are getting it. I have tried other machines and by far this one impressed me the most! If you’re thinking about it. Just do it. You won’t regret it.

After 3 weeks of using it on tile only: Much smarter and quieter than my 7-year-old Neato, which I thought was pretty good. The Narwal is very good at avoiding bumping into things, delicately moving around them. Mop function is surprisingly good, although the robot must return to base frequently to take on more water supply - lots of travel time if you're cleaning a large area. Spreads a very small amount of water on the floor to mop, which dries quickly. Vacuum & Mop function works just as well as Vacuum Then Mop, and it's faster. It's hard to hear and understand the voice alerts from the robot and base, although the app does a good job of conveying the same alerts (make sure to allow sounds from the app.) Both the app and the touch screen on the base take some time to learn, and I still don't understand what Freo Mind is. Owner's Manual is in the box but doesn't say much - what it doesn't tell you is that there are very helpful videos on the website. I wish robot and base were black - would be less prominent in my home and show less dirt accumulation on exterior.

The battery life can lasting around 3 hours on a single charge. The cleaning modes are customizable, and the app allows me to schedule cleanings in advance.

The Narwal Freo is amazing. Was very impressed with how accurate and quick it mapped our house. It vacuums and mops very well and is very customizable. With the app, set up is very simple. Highly recommend!
