Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than Amazon products, unfortunately, I have a small fortune invested in Amazon stuff (Amazon Echos (2), Dots (6) . . . oops, make that 5 as one had to be thrown in the trash --- broke after the warranty period ran out). The product is clearer, faster, and knows so much more than any of the Amazon products. Oh, well . . .

I actually own the original Google mini smart speaker and although there's not much of a difference between the two if I were going to purchase one the Nest Mini would be my choice. It sounds better and in my opinion seems to be a bit quicker than the original Google Mini.

I got them on sale, and they work great. Easy to set up and install, and you can find nice little mounts to install these into wall outlets to avoid taking up space!

If you pair two of these together for music they actually sound good for what they are. Problems with pairing them. 1 - one of the units becomes the control unit and the other unit doesn't listen to your voice. so you will lose some functionality. 2 - the second unit sometimes doesn't keep sync with the primary unit. A jack for music output would be nice but I guess that is to old fashioned for Google.

I EVEN gave my other mini away to my aunt when she had covid for her to have something different to do. She loves it. Purchased for Christmas gift. I have Google nest. Love it. For the price. Its worth it. It doesn't say I don't know. AND THE NEST. ALWAYS SENDS U A LINK when it doesn't have answer to get answer.

I have compared it to many assistants but Google definitely meets everything. 100 percent recommended

Great New Design

They do the job and sound reasonable. This new one has added a feature that seems like a no brainer and is very convenient. The ability to hang it on the wall. They also FINALLY allow for stereo pairing. Don't buy these unless they are on sale. Don't ever pay full price on any smart speaker.
