Excellent Google home. Setting up automations, music is great! Sound quality is great!

AS I SAID GOOGLE HOME IS NOT AS SMART AS YOU MAY THINK. I USE FOR VERY SIMPLE QUESTIONS SUCH AS WEATHER, DATES.AND SO ON. SOMETIMES JUST KEEPS SAYING SO SORRY I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. BETTER OFF USING YOUR COMPUTER IF IT IS CLOSE BY. USED MY EXRTA POINTS SO GOT FOR FREE.

I love this Nest Mini for simply letting me listen to music, set timers when cooking, and asking about the weather. Google Assistant is better than Alexa or Siri from my experience. For the price, it is a no brainer.

Amazingly simple to connect to nest doorbell and the volume is perfect

Its design is modest and neutral, and one of the few smart home gadgets that can effectively disappear on a shelf or kitchen counter like a colorful knick-knack. Primarily, it’s a smart speaker, so it will play music and podcasts, set timers and alarms, read the news or information from the web, provide a rundown of your day’s schedule and appointments, give you traffic updates and even tell you the weather forecasts, all with voice control. You link your Google Account and voice to your speaker and it will recognize your voice. I’ll get up in the morning and say, “Hey, Google, Good Morning, and “she” answers, “Good Morning, Donna,” then tells me the temperature, traffic update, the latest news, and then plays music, all while I’m getting ready for my day. You can make phone calls, send texts, and even check your emails, all with your voice. One of my favorite things I did was to set it up so at 9 pm daily, “she” comes on and announces my husband’s nickname from me and tells him, “I Love You,” from the nickname he calls me, then it plays our song. (Kinda sickening, I know.) It’s just fun to have. I say, “Hey Google, tell me my reminders, and “she” does. It’s wonderful for cooking because when you place something in the oven all you have to do it say, “Hey, Google, set timer for 20 minutes” and it’s done. We have it hooked up to Spotify and we are always requesting our favorite songs to play or request our playlist to play. Also, it’s set up to our video doorbell so we can answer our door through the Nest. We are in the process of buying a Chromecast so we can cast the video doorbell to our TV. There is so much more I’m not even touching, but this review would be so much longer. If you want a powerful, fast, and attractive smart speaker for an affordable price, you won’t be disappointed with the Nest Mini.

The Google nest mini...you are my receptive friend...I don't have to ask over and over again for something to be done...you get me on the first try!!! Your older sister works just as well, however, your sound quality is a wee bit better.

1st smart assistant purchase. Still figuring out everything but overall very impressed with the ease of use and setup. Neighbors have an Alexa and google assistant seems to be waaay smarter and easier to customize!

I got a Google Home Base a couple years ago for Xmas and it came with a round mini.... I found that I liked the home base in the living area, and the round mini was put in the bedroom. This round mini is destined for our camper!

My Nest doorbell wasn’t compatible with my doorbell chime, so I bought this Nest mini to act as my doorbell chime. It not only dings but also announces that someone is at the front door. I also use it as an audio Google assistant.

Got this when it was on sale and love it. Don’t think I’d pay normal price for it, however. Amazed at the sound quality that comes out of this tiny speaker. Also works well as part of a Google Home system.

As far as a smart speaker, this is as easy as it gets. I have previously had the Amazon Echo speakers, two of which have failed. This has better sound, has better mounting options and ties in with everything else Google/Nest.

This little speaker has nice sound quality and is responsive to voice command. The speaker connects to Google Home and can be paired with other devises to give you lots of options for sound at home or at work.

These are great to put in your home office or bathroom to keep updated on the weather or listen to music. Turning off and on and getting questions answered by voice command are great.
