I purchase this Google Wi-Fi home Wi-Fi mesh system because I needed better signal for my security cameras. This wi-fi system was very surprisingly good better than what I was expecting because it helps grow your smart home if that is something you are creating. Each of the individual pods that help extend the Wi-Fi signal include Google assistant and the ability to be used as a playback speaker which is added benefits to having the system.

Have had no issues. Our home is 4000 sq ft and this has definitely improved the quality of our internet accessibility.

We loved the installation and Google WiFi coverage. The Google devices are great we now have full house WiFi coverage.

So far working good in 4000 sq ft 2 storey house. I have two pack placed at two opposite corner of the house, I am able to stream with anyone issue

I added these two components to my existing Google Wifi. I now have 5 access points in my house and the coverage is superb.

This will be my 4th mesh type router system that I have owned over the years, so i've definitely been around the block with these types of systems! Opening the box, you get the idea that google is going for kind of a minimalist approach to their routers. Something that will just blend into your home and you wont even know its there. They are very plain looking white cylinders. You also get 2 power cords and a ethernet cable....and thats it! I have to say, setting up this system has been easier by a long shot than any other system I used. I already had the Google home app on my phone and am part of the Google ecosystem, so I basically just plugged in the router and hooked it up to my modem and followed the instructions in the google home app. I was literally up and running in a few minutes. If you don't have a google account, it may take slightly longer because you will have to sign up for an account. Once the main router is set up, you simply plug in your other router and go through basically the same setup process in the app. A few little taps and a couple minutes later and your node is connected to the main router and you are ready to go! We have a roughly 2500 square foot house with upper level and walk out basement. These 2 nodes easily covered our entire house and small yard that we have. We probably could have even gotten away with just 1 of them. As far as speed goes, its just as fast if not faster than any other ones I have used. The main router we are getting about 100 Mbps and on the second node located on the lower level we get about 60-70 Mbps . So there is very little drop in speed. We have a house of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. So often times there is multiple HD videos streaming and things being downloaded and games being played all at the same time. I've never noticed any problems with this router. It keeps up with us without any problems! Having the google assistant built into the node is an added bonus feature. Now you can get rid of your mini speakers and just use the router. I don't understand why that feature isn't built into the main router and its only on the remote nodes though. You'd think they would have it on all of them. That's one little gripe I do have about these. The other is that there are no Ethernet ports on the secondary nodes either. I used to have my security cameras and hue light system hooked up to my router in the basement and now I need to reconfigure everything because there isn't any ethernet ports on the secondary node. Other than those 2 small gripes, I think this is a fantastic system! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a whole home WiFi system. I would recommend it even more if you are already part of the google ecosystem!

Excellent router super easy to setup, make sure you have a modem though

This was a very easy mesh system to setup - even for a novice. Works great and gives a strong wi-fi signal throughout my home.

Absolutely love them! They link up to the router quickly and easily. They provide high-speed internet, with a great connection. On top of all the things it can do. You know it great when it provides a strong fast connection even though we have steel beams in our walls and concrete and steel in our basement. I would definitely recommend this product over any other.

Love the google Wi-Fi it has increased the signal around the house.
