Solid extender

In the time I've had them, the only issue I've had was a weak signal for a day. I reset all devices and it's back to normal. Overall, pretty good product.

The Nest WiFi is amazing! Now I don't have any problems, anywhere around my house. Since my house it's made of concrete this is a win. Only thing missing it's WiFi 6.

There can be multiple reasons that cause slower or inconsistent Wi-Fi connection. We recommend checking the following:
- As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.
- Building materials and other objects located between your Nest Wifi Points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your primary and secondary Points.
- There could be signal interference due to traffic on your Wi-Fi network, on your neighbors' Wi-Fi networks, or from other sources like microwaves or baby monitors.

Easy set up and boost wifi signal

Modem is in my office so now I get wifi on my deck. If you have pockets of your home in which the signal is not strong enough, this is your solution

My girlfriend bought these to try and help boost the signal in our home but my link WiFi extenders do laps around these guys and for half the price.

For the best performance with Nest Wifi, we suggest checking if you´re using a modem/router combo. If you are, we recommend setting it up in bridge mode and disabling its Wi-Fi functionality. This will avoid any network issues caused by both your combo and Nest Wifi Router, broadcasting the same SSID and password. You may then connect your Nest Wifi Router to your modem using an Ethernet cable, and then connect your Nest Wifi Points to your Nest Wifi Router wirelessly.

Very happy with the Wi-Fi response and speed of the units so far. A absolute bonus is the Google assistant built-in to the remote unit.

My office is at the back end of our property and this doesn't allow you to "daisy chain" the wifi. I ended up returning this and getting the Orbi system which is perfect!

The best router

The only problem I had was adding them to three older Google Wifi devices. Not easy to do. I had to reset all the older units to factory then add them to the new nest wifi setup. The manual is horrible. I ended finding a youtube video.

The price of the Google Nest is worth every penny. I have a dead zone that I never received any signal for 12 years and now I do. The speed of the WIFI is hitting about 900 mbs.

I had tried an extender but it didn't work very well. Google Wifi mesh system was recommended. It was quite easy to set up with just a few minor hiccups.
