A Solid upgrade over Gen 1 Google Wifi

I just wish it was WIFI6

After using google mesh system no more drop connection. I tested the speed and can’t believe.

Works well with app to monitor performance/status of system via mobile.

My daughter loves her nest in the basement. She talks with it. I prefer mine just keep me hooked up to the internet.

Swap should be easy / instant (eg. “Are you Replacing X for Y” and then all settings transfer to devices).

Also does not work with WPS printers. Linksys X10 does a better job. Linksys is more expensive but you get what you pay for.

-type of device you are using
-distance between the device and your router or point
-the frequency your devices are connected to
-physical barriers like walls in your home.
We recommend these steps to improve your Wi-Fi speed:
-Move the connected device closer to your Wifi router or point.
-Run a mesh test to confirm placement of your Wifi points. Try to move your router or point to a more open or unobstructed location and your router or points closer to each other.
-Restart your network.
-Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to confirm your service is working properly.

Increased our wifi through the whole house

It also improved our Ring doorbell and cameras. The features are amazing...had no idea when I bought it that its also a speaker for music.

I love the fact that they also have google assist in them. Smart home technology is awesome.

Only time I will lose connection is when/if my internet goes out. Has no issues connecting to all my home lights speakers, tv, roomba, etc.

Coverage across the whole house is much better. The system is less configurable that many routers that I have used before and the phone app is more awkward than a web interface.

I really enjoy having Google built in to the point. I put it in my bed room and have used the speaker to play music. They both blend in very well to the rooms.

Connectivity and coverage was good, expert that about once a day it would stop working and required a reboot. Every single day. What a nightmare. Eventually returned it after expensive troubleshooting didn't help. It seems to be a known issue that Google refuses to fix.

Extremely happy with the extended WIFI coverage that we have now. Definitely will buy more units to increase coverage in upstairs of the home.

We use this in a 2400 square foot house and have full bars everywhere. Our yard is 1/2 acre and we have full bars on the entire property.

I have not had any slow receptions, good pictures, which is a big difference from the extenders I purchase before.

Greatly improved our work from home situation. There is a noticeable increase in the wifi quality when both my wife and I have simultaneous video calls.

Now with this mesh system, we even get perfect signal in the front and back yards! Signal is always full strength.
