Over priced, underwhelming.

It does not support 2.4 GHz connections at all and that's enough for a two-star review. Honestly, not worth the hassle or money. Just bought a Nighthawk AX70 router and it blows this out of the water. FYI we are covering 4K sqf home and the Nighthawk is better hands down.

I had heard mesh system would be the way to go but I had similar issues with Google nest WiFi as well. Stayed connected where the main router is but not anywhere else. Had rebooted the system multiple times, many times it wouldn’t connect even to the access point and this being in the same room. Decided to return this ina bout a week unfortunately. But it is a very good mesh system for those who it works. Would recommend trying it atleast.

But the switch between different points still causes a very short network interruption. This is my only complaint so far. I don't have a high bandwidth requirement though.

Wi-Fi signal strength may be affected by Wi-Fi interference like physical barriers which may cause the limited ranges and slower connection to the Internet. As a general rule, Nest Wifi Points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. Haven’t used all the google features too much yet, but there are no dead zones in a 3 story townhouse.
