    Worst Product. last for 2 years only. Connect with Google support and Bust Buy(geek squad) both are not able to fix. No return, no trade in, no repair

    At first - this product worked well. It made our WiFi cover well outside of the house, upstairs. Awesome. Seemingly, something has changed over the past few months - maybe an update, who knows - and this is usable maybe half the time. I find myself rebooting several times a week and the WiFi access point is in the other room from our living room. We've had dropped Zoom calls. Dropped Teams meetings. Periods where the WiFi shows connected but it's entirely unusable. Following the recommendations helps. For a day. Then you're back to rebooting it again and again. Buy something else. Google missed on this one.

    Not certain but it did appear to help my dead zone situation with my tablet but I get more buffering on my TVs than expected. However, I do like owing my own router& I also like having one on each level of my house. Also bought it on sale.

      The placement of your Wi-Fi router and Google Wifi points is vital to have reliable Wi-Fi throughout your home. As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf. It may be helpful to try the following steps to see if the Wi-Fi performance will improve:

      - Move the connected device closer to your Wifi router or point.
      - Repositioning the points to avoid obstructions like walls, doors, and aquariums can improve performance.
      - Make sure all unused devices are off and not draining bandwidth with large downloads.
      - Check for possible sources of interference such as microwave ovens, refrigerators or other equipment.
      - Run a mesh test to confirm placement of your Wifi points.

    This was recommended to me to help increase my connection quality. I haven’t noticed any improvement and it was very difficult to set up. I had to call my internet provider and have them do something on their end to get it working. I’m not impressed but I’m stuck with it now.

      Factors like thick walls, mirrors, windows and even signals from other wireless devices may cause interference that will shorten the distance Nest Wifi router can cover. You may need to shorten the distance between your Nest Wifi Router and Nest Wifi Points to get a better signal coverage.

    Product is nice but the service of the sales rep telling me that this would be an easy set up was wrong. I am not pleased as now I had to head back to BBYLQ and schedule a Geek Squad support person to come reinstall and cost me more money to do so.

    I purchased this combo Nov 2019 and it worked fine for 3~4 months. Now, signal strength of the primary router and wifi point is worse than any basic single wifi router. I had Netgear Nighthawk before I bought this Nest Mesh system. Idea was to increase coverage and overall speed but it went the other direction. My house is 2650 sq ft and this mesh system advertise coverage approx 3400 sq ft which is not possible based on the results that I am getting. I tested my network using wired connection and old nighthawk router, it gives me 120 Mbps whereas Google Mesh system gives me 3 ~ 5 Mbps and mesh testing now shows weak connection. I have sent feedback to google via google wifi app and hoping to hear back soon.

    Have had to delete app, reinstall, mess around with making schedules, deleting schedules, recreating schedules. No good documentation comes with devices fo these items. Everything has to be googled, no pun intended. Don't know if I'd buy again.

    The router seems to work great and the installation was easy. The app makes setup and changes convenient. Part of the reason for purchasing the Nest was for the extra Point that adds extra mesh coverage and it has a Google Assistant. It has a built-in speaker for music and asking questions. I wouldn't know how it works because during setup the app spins and spins. The app has to be restarted to work again. I've read the threads online and followed suggested fixes. I found many others having the same issues and there is not answer as to why. The Point also doesn't respond to "Hey Google" every time. It's like it's in sleep mode. I'm still trying to remedy the issue, but if it can't be fixed I will be getting a refund.
