I have always enjoyed NetGear routers and like this one a lot. Great speed, easy to hook up. Has been working fine with no issues for about 3 months now.

Our previous router was causing our internet coverage to drop when too far away from the router . This new router doesn't drop and speed seems to be faster

I purchased this router because I thought that my old Netgear router had finally died, but I quickly discovered that Comcast had switched my IP address from IPv4 to IPv6 and had screwed up my Internet connection for 3 days. I called Netgear's tech support twice and my experience with them was excellent! I am in tech support and have dealt with the whole nine - Netgear's tech support was great. Once I finally got my ISP straight (Comcast's support is HORRIBLE), I was so impressed with the speed and router's software that I decided to swallow the price. BTW the price is competitive for comparable routers. I setup a lot of SOHO routers for my job and have touched them all - the Netgear software and tech support are by far the best, and I never write reviews. Beware of new home-use Linksys because their routers have been purchased by Belkin and their software sucks compared to Netgear.

Our other one stopped working, we ran out to the store on a Sunday evening, set this up and had our internet back within minutes. It was very easy and works!

Needed to extend the router capability to my upstairs bonus room, this product provided the wifi necessary to view Netflix and operate lap top computers.

This is a great product. Easy to set up and also give you a lot of options for set up if you like to customize. I will but it again.

I purchased this router for the same reason anyone wants a better router....faster internet. I am not a "tech" person, so a router like this was more than what I thought I needed. Installation was very simple, and the online router setup on my Mac was very easy to walk thru. This router has dual band widths. Which means, theoretically you can have multiple devices on your wifi without slowing down your internet. I have one band width set up for my computer alone since my wife uploads pictures on a regular basis, and I have our phones and visitors phones set up on the second band width. I also have an Amazon Fire Box hard wired into the router via Ethernet cord. At this very moment I have 4 devices working at once, including streaming a video on the Fire Box, and I am having ZERO issue. No buffering at all, and the video I'm streaming is 1080. The only reason at all I don't give this item 5 stars is because I have only owned it for approximately 2 months, so I can't comment on the longevity of the item. I also cannot comment on using this router for online gaming, though I have heard from friends that it does work well for the price. In conclusion, if you have multiple devices in your home I would definitely recommend this item. Go ahead and spend the extra $50 dollars more and get something that will WORK.

Streaming movies is a lot faster and gaming at the best speed got it for a big house and it even works outside and in the basement its a decent product.

I purchased this in Dec 2015, so about a year and a half ago. It's still working great! Has nice range and doesn't seem to drop signal on it's own. I originally had it for a small apartment, but have since moved into a larger house and it's still working well for what we need.

Replaced a 10 year old router and haven't had to reset it anymore!! Internet working really well and haven't had any buffering :) I'm a happy girl.

I was skeptical of this due to owning another netgear router that had to be reset constantly. This router works good and I haven't ever had to reset it .

I've always used Netgear products. Just set this one up for my motherinlaw & it solved all of her range issues. Connects like a charm & no issues

This Netgear router is at the middle price point & has the speed we need for all of our Apple products.

After having Linksys, Monoprice, and Belkin, this Netgear is lightning fast and a breeze to setup. This router is simple enough for the beginner, but has enough extras to provide the seasoned network manager a thorough experience.

I have a two story house and found that this router provided excellent coverage at the farthest most point. Excellent customer service group.

Much faster and more consistent than the router it replaced. But then the old one was 8 years old so I would have been disappointed if it wasn't.

This unit has improved our home network speeds. Thank you. Overall it was easy to set up. That being said, I thought the set up interface was clunky.
