Got this to upgrade my WIFI after I purchased a Chromebook for my wife which only runs on WIFI. It works great now and the router really has a lot of options which I like. It is easy to setup, easy to use, and has options for kids monitoring and/or paternal control which I think is a very well thought option to include. You can also add a guest account to prevent visitors accessing your personal network stuff. Its great!

This router has been fantastic. Has good range, connects fast, and speed is fast as well.

I was like one of those people still using the old black and blue Linksys WRT54G models everyone had at one point and thinking of adding a wifi extender which cuts the bandwidth in half. Then I read a article and replaced it with a new router and it seriously extend the range in my house. If you’re connected to your router via the old 802.11g wireless standard, it’s time to upgrade and Netgear is the best in the market.

First router I have purchased in about 6 years. Easy set-up and works great for a large family.

Lightening took out our old router and I didn't look forward to spending those extra dollars, but this was a great investment! It was very easy to install (even a soccer mom could do it all by herself). I was amazed at the speed of the wifi and my kids loved it because it for their PS 3 and PS4 systems. I would definitely recommend this router to anyone. Oh, and the salesman who helped me pick this was fabulous!

Wanted a 5G-capable router for my Mac toys (IPhone and Mac Air). I also grew irritated with Comcast's subpar gear and decided to buy my own. Based on my research on the web, this router seemed to have the best combination of features for the price. I especially enjoy the associated app to check performance. It just works and that's nice, too. I've had it hooked up for over a month without needing to reboot it.

I paid $130 at a Best Buy store about a month ago. The router was easy to set up with my home network. It functions pretty well, but it does drop signals too often. I then have to disconnect and reconnect to my home network to regain a good signal. I have only had to reboot the router once, though. Download speeds are no better than with my old D-LINK router, which cost only $40. Bottom line: not worth the relatively high price.

The Netgear Router made the Internet easily and speedily accessible for my family and I. We no longer have problems connecting from any room in our house and we enjoy the speed of our connection. I would recommend this product to a friend. Although it is a bit pricey, it works very well unlike its predecessors. Happy Purchasing!

I was able to use this outdoors up to 300 ft away. Was very impressed. Very easy to setup.

Increased speed and performance. Bought to replace an old router that was struggling to keep up with demands. Since we bought this router we have not had issues with lag time in streaming movies. We can use multiple devices with no problem. Great price as well.

Wifi speed increase due to this upgrade. Awesome piece of equipment to add on. Since I have one of those modem/ router, my router speed was lagging and I couldn't get the wifi speed i needed. (I have comcast performance plus at 101mpbs and my old router was only pushing out 15mpbs which isn't anywhere near what I am paying for. With the addition of this, I was able to improve my wifi speed by so much.

I have had very good luck with Netgear routers!! my last one went for 6 years, or more, this one worked the best for getting to the far end of the house, all routers i tryed didn't work has good, i didn't see paying a lot of money for something that didn't work any better! then this one did!! i went though 4 routers and came back to the cheaper router, worked the best for me and this house!

Fast speeds. Easy set up. Great range. No need for extender when you have this router.

This router seems to be very fast and has an appropriate distance for my wifi needs.
