Works about the same as my old router that I paid about 40$ for. The signal works great for my I pad mini down in the basement but the signal for my I phone is weak. So I see no major difference in the less expensive router.

Purchased this unit as a replacement for a a failed Asus router that lasted 2 years. Net Gear had easy setup and strong signal - just double check antenna orientation for best signal. Happy so far.

Bought this for an upgrade to AC. Range has been outstsnding. Covers an entire 6000 foot home and extends about 60 feet to an outdoor patio.

Easy set up and we have had no issues. We have had some power outages and it has come right back on with rebooting it. Make sure to get the app first before a set up

Did my research and went into the store and was actually going to buy a more expensive unit. Unless you're a gamer or have more than 12 devices connected, this is all you need and I'm very satisfied.

i get fast internet and i like the app that comes with it. it makes it super easy to change settings. i wish there were more ethernet ports on the back though.

Router was easy to set up. No CD needed. Plug and played.. Had option to set it up myself or allowed Netgear Genie to take care of it. Whole house is covered and no dropped signals.

This router is Awesome works great coverage through out my 2 floor apt. On top of that I actually get Wi-Fi outside in my parking area 4 bars. Hundreds of feet away. Highly recommended *****

Set up was fast, no issues. Unless you change your Wifi name, you should have any problem getting your equipment to pick up the new router.

It was time to upgrade routers and I was looking for one that would cover 1600 sq/ft home and wasn't too expensive. This has worked well for me.

I got this to replace a Linksys E4200 that would randomly drop all network connections. This has been solid so far. Range seems to be as good as the E4200, maybe slightly better. Setup was very easy.
